I'm at barm, dice, darthe, and eldrick. I want to vote darthe, but any of the 4 will suffice.

No deep scum in this game? You're prob at least 2/3 wrong on that list.

I don't know about your lists but mine never have very many deep scum on them.

I think Eldrick might be scum from his handling of Sili about the vig thing. I don't see the point in asking about why he would assume Lily was the vig kill. For one, even BEFORE Lady Clov claimed (I'm calling her that from now on, because this is a medieval themed game...and mostly to stroke my own ego), it was a pretty logical assumption. Why would mafia EVER shoot somebody who got ran up the day before?

Second, what good comes from pushing that angle? Say Sili was the vig and shot her. You've now pressured a town power role into claiming. I don't see a scenario where scum shoots somebody - who flips town - and goes "Oh btw guys, that was me!".

Looks more like he was trying to get confirmation on a PR to me.

Ok. I wasn't PR hunting. I didn't want the vig to reveal. I wanted more insight into why Sili said what he did. It makes so much sense now, I can't believe I didn't realize it myself. I guess I'm more rusty than I thought.

I wasn't the only one that wanted insight though. I'm the only one being confronted about it.

I'll chalk that up to because I also voted Sili. That was stupid of me, as I only wanted information. I didn't know how he claimed to know, so I was suspicious, but not warranting a vote.

In any case, what's done is done. We have someone claiming to be the vig. Tomorrow I finally have time to do a reread, and will do so in this light. I also suggest others to do the same.

I just wanted to add that I have realized my focus on Darthe is because he's loud. If you really are town, you did a great job of distracting me from finding scum. I'm going to try and get reads on other people during my reread.

I just had a look see at Eldrick's posts. I'm disregarding his first vote on Darthe. He claims to have done it before reading his role PM which means it's not indicative in any shape or form. Later on he starts FoSing Sili and decides he feels better about Darthe. Here's the quote:

I'm leaving my vote where it is for now. Still waiting for Sili to give me a reason not to.

But, Darthe is my other suspect. If he gets more pressure, I don't mind helping that go along either.

Looks like Darthe suddenly got bumped back up to his top suspect list? Right when he saw the train on Sili wasn't really going to build... and just as Darthe was getting heat. And Darthe votes him soon after.

So I'm to believe that Darthe and Eldrick are not likely scummates because all of the above?

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, I don't think so.

My suspect list is really short. I haven't gotten reads on many people. I haven't really had that much time to play lately.

Hey, I would never tell you what YOU should do. You're a strong, independent woman who don't need no Clov. I just don't think it's a very smart play to consider right now, but I'm just one person. Where would Dice be on that list if he hadn't claimed survivor?

I agree on your take of lynching a survivor, claimed or implied. I support a lynch like that, as I don't trust survivors. Too easy to fake claim.

Basically I think the Verbal kill points at Darthe and makes an easy bit of wifom for him to say "they've obviously framed me". Couple that with his generally scummy behavior in Day 1 (even Darthe admitted that all of the votes on him were valid) and I think he definitely needs to die. Bonus is getting rid of his nasty attitude towards DM mafia and the fact that it'll be an informative lynch towards the rest of the game.

I'm going to bed now. I will do the re-read I mentioned earlier tomorrow, then take a close look at Barm's activity, to see if it warrents my vote.

I'm leaving my vote on Darthe though, because the his lynch not going through while he was at L-1(Well, L-2 except for a 40 min window, but still close) is a valid point towards him being scum.

TL/DR version?

1. Bad feels based on the fact he had been so under the radar

2. He was on a wagon [Lili's] that lynched Town and is the most suspicious one that hasn't been cleared on it

3. My "not Town" read on Dice [who I was voting for despite the fact he wasn't on the Lili wagon] is likely because he is a survivor

I have noted that you and Nyn seem to think I'm playing scummy but don't recall either of you pointing out anything remotely scummy about my play. Well, Nyn has at least vomited up this super weak confirmation bias argument that I'm probably scum because I voted Lily to save my scum bro Darthe - ignoring the fact she knows I'd bus the snot out of Darthe for Town credit without even feeling bad.

What bothers me the most is I think you both know that I'd keep Verb in the game to manipulate - as I have done in numerous games [*cough* Discworld *cough*]. So I hope you understand my sadness and confusion.
