Sili - I think there's a significant difference between pointing out a flawed case, attacking the person making said case, and defending the person the case is made on.  The fact you actively pushed Verbal as scum implies you feel Darthe has a reasonable chance to be town, unless you think Verbal is actually trying to hard bus a teammate on D1 to the point of actually securing his lynch.  I don't think the interactions between Verbal and Darthe can be seen as mafia-mafia distancing; Verbal seemed to genuinely WANT Darthe lynched.  If Darthe is mafia, Verbal is clear; if Verbal is mafia, Darthe is clear (this does NOT work in the reverse, and I'm not implying it does).

 

If you had simply had a civil argument with Verb on the merits of his case and why you thought he was possibly lynching a townie, I would better understand your point.  I don't feel that's what happened. 

 

Leelou - For what it's worth, I don't think you need to KNOW somebody's alignment to defend them.  But I do think you should FEEL they are town if you're defending them.

You DID, however, make a statement that implies you were content defending him without actually pulling votes from him.  I know YOU said that's not what you meant by damaging his wagon, but it's pretty much the same thing IMO.

I DO think the bold represents the games I've seen him as town (just Firefly and Be Nice, I believe), but it doesn't really give me a baseline to his scum game.  It might be the same, it might not - I don't know.  We were mafia together in a game on another site, but he was modkilled for inactivity, so I can't do much with that one to figure out how he acts as scum.  I'd love to see that post you referenced when you get time.

Like most people, when I'm scum I'm more reserved and I hard time faking conviction.

I did it because I was able to post objectively. I had suspicions before I even knew who I was. They haven't changed.

 

 

No activity indicates that scum sees no reason to change up the wagons so I suspect that either both are wrong or that they feel confident that mine will go through.  I am not wholely comfortable with a Lily lynch but it is a damn sight better than my own death.  [v] lily [/v]

 

Can anyone remind me what actual argument there is for me being mafia?  I think they were all neutered.

1. Lack of progression in your reads.

2. You don't care about finding scum.

3. When I expound my read of you, you tell me I'm a hypocrite and it has nothing to do with anything.
