Cool setup. How did the gifter work?

 

 

The Gifter had Excalibur, and had to try and find Arthur each night, and if he did, Arthur received the Motivator ability, which he could then use from then on. The Morgan slot was also trying to find whoever had Excalibur (so Nimue or Arthur, depending on where the sword was) and steal it - that was one wincon for the Morgan slot.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone, especially about the roles/flavor, I will definitely think about that more in future. When I first started planning this game - which was probably almost a year ago - I kind of remember that I had intended to randomize the character more, or at least, it was something I thought about (for instance, I remember I was thinking of making Lancelot a fake claim for scum). Unfortunately, for some reason I can't remember, this is something I stopped thinking about somewhere along the way. But I will definitely think about it in future.

 

I know quite a few people wanted to play this flavor and couldn't, for whatever reasons (or got killed Night 1 lol), and I will say that I would be interesting in running this game again, with different characters/narrative, and different roles from the initial roleset. Not that it would happen anytime soon, but I definitely would like to :)
