While I don't think him voting hallia necessarily clears Hallia, I do think it plausible he was in catch-up mode judging from his overall behavior this game. There were a lot of times where he'd just go post by post and later have to correct himself.

 

That said, the way he voted Hallia is probably more indicative than the vote itself.

The 'bigger fish' thing is kind of what I'm talking about when it comes to her focus. She basically ignored and was town reading a player we all know now is scum despite thread progress, so imo, that brings her to #1 for the rope next. I think Verb and Crusher would probably agree with your point there as well. I'll be extremely surprised if Leelou isn't Mafia this game.

 

Be prepared to be surprised then after you lynch me. Y'all pretty much have written my death sentence, but I'll still give reads in the morning. Too tired now.

Sili Quirrels - initally had townie points for an attempt at legit game start ...  but i really dislike what he was using to jump start the game and he's reacting very bad to pressure.  i also think Big Game Hunting is tactless.

Thane Vakarian - he flippant response to D1, the way he's interacting with Sili, and most of his posts come off as appearing to be active without really doign anything.

Leelou - i dislike her putting Nol as town then backing off quick with a "nah i just skimmed lawl" when pressured on it

votes aren't that serious, after all, the locations are merely flavor. You seem to be wanting to figure out who the bad guys are, but let's just play and find out, no? It's still early D1, and with the few comments made, it'd be hard to single out a few players.

votes are always serious.  while the locations are flavor we're still trying to find scum.   you seem content just to spam and not do any legit hunting.  FoS to you.  its not a PAFO type of thing.  in order to find out we have to have legit convo, votes, pressure and soothing.  what your advocating is a "sit back and let the scum win" sort of attitude.

 

when you made this there was plenty of content to wade through and start making reads off of.  while i disagree with the content itself, it doesn't discount the reactions people had to said content and how they tried to use that content on thread.

 

 

slower pace admittedly is nice, indeed. And, as you said, some players still need to check in. Once everybody is in, the game can truely start

 

 

the game doesn't start when everyone checks in, the game starts when the first player posts.

@ Sili - still waiting on that post to me you promised man.  you can post that novella to other people but all i get is a "yeah i have a response to Red but its in limbo, lawl stupid tablet" isn't an excuse.  instead of posting the "had a post but its trapped in limbo on tablet" you could just retyped the post and posted it from you computer.

5. Nolder - the flavour thing that Nyn pointed out was strange and what does it mean that I have a "cold opening"?

Verb's points on what Sili used to get the game started are more valid.  theres also the apparent motive behind the topic he used to get the game started, which was aimed at Big Game Hunting and WIFOM surrounding who the scum might have recruited and why.  

 

and i stated why i have Nol as a town lean in my list.  its the same reason as Nyn and Verb being listed there.  his reaction to Sili rang legit

You used it as a game starter, congrats. Its use is fulfilled, continuing to beat a dead horse now only comes off as scummy and a distraction.

I don't care what someone does in a different game. Meta only carries you so far in reads and relying on it like a crutch will bite you in the butt. My play style is specifically designed to make my meta 90% innacurate with reading me. Others use the same tactic BTW.And its less of a derogatory comment as a backdoor way to discredit my reads. Its my interpretation of what you said *shrugs*

 

Isn't that a little paranoid? I can understand fos'ing dice over his lack of content, but a joke ain't distracting unless you want it to be.

I've talked about a lot. I'm not focusing on mechanics at all. I don't understand how I'm beating a dead horse.

 

Tina isn't you, but that withstanding, at the least you would have acknowledged Tina was capable of making the same read as town because she's done it before. I don't know why you didn't bring it up if you knew Tina was in her town range.

 

I still don't understand how you came to that conclusion. Is go-getter a bad word in your experience?

2nd - with Dice its not the fact he was joke voting, its the timing of it that pings.  i made that clear when i pointed it out.

 

3rd - its the entire interaction between the two of you, starting with you linking both of you together as "not top scum picks".  its coming off gambity imo

 

4th - your continuing to draw people into a discussion about who the scum might or might not have recruited and base reads off that.  i call that beating a dead horse.

Your absolutely right. I was a sucker and fell for something i shouldnt have, tho the thing about it rolling around in my head was true, and i was trying to laff it off. Obviously didnt work.

Your right it does. and thats because it IS forced. and thats cause its me forcing it. Sili backtracked on page one. It caught my attention and i immediately wanted to go at him for it. Problem is I did that last game and while he did end up scum he wasnt when he pulled that backtrack. I tend to go pretty hard after sili cause he does stuff i find scummy a lot but doesn't have the sort of tone i read someone like Thane with. And ive been wrong on him often. I also agreed with your post about an eerie feeling. but i am actively trying to NOT jump on sili for the same sort of stuff as i normally do. Keeping that in mind im actually leaning town on him. only leaning cause i am aware that my instinct wants to lynch him.

I unvoted her after her responses, but I haven't been happy with her most of the game. I've pointed out a couple times where she put words in my mouth. She was saying that you voted her for her joke and I also said that Dice voted off her joke, which she misinterpreted as me saying that Dice voted her.

It makes me suspicious, very suspicious. chemistry is cool, its open book but i want to pull my 89 back up to an A.   cal is harder.  we're doing derivatives and integration of inverse trig functions.  i've got the integration down pat, but the derivatives are killing me <_<  which sucks because the derivatives should be the easy part *sigh*
