FYI I have a headache so when deadline passes I'm probably not going to update the game for awhile.

So if anyone was planning on hanging around for the results I suggest just checking back in tomorrow morning.

Dusk found the battlefield loud and bloody. Bodies littered the ground and birds had already begun picking the corpses. The struggle wasn't over just yet but the signs were already there. Hobbits kept regrouping and being scattered, many had already fled the battlefield. One brave hobbit found himself atop a horse and was beheading men as he rode through their lines but eventually he was pulled down and maimed by dozen men. A bitter defeat loomed as a crow nibbled on the bloody earlobe of Peregrin Took, a knife in the back marring the white tree on his tattered cloak.

Night falls on the Shire but it is not dark. Bonfires are lit all around the battlefield as the Ruffians celebrate their victory. That is the scene that Will Whitfoot, the mayor of Michel Delving, witnessed as he crept down the road. Bodies of dead hobbits lay everywhere but Will is determined to make these men see reason. To tell them to leave the Shire, leave his people alone, leave and n- "Oomph!" The ground took the wind out of him as he tripped. It was Robin Smallburrow, the Shirrif, dead in the road. "Oh Robin..." Will whispered to nobody. Nobody answered in a strong almost melodic voice, "He died a fool. Only a fool could think to stop the advance of the age of men." A regal old man in rags and his pasty, cringing, servant stepped out from behind a tree into the light. "I don't want no trouble sirs. I've only come t-to ask that you leave us be. The Shire is hobbit land. We don't want trouble." Saruman held himself tall and smiled warmly and will visibly relaxed. "Ah, but you see, trouble has found you. Goodbye fool." With a flick of his wrist Saruman sent the fat hobbit flying fifty feet into the air and broke his neck as he smashed into a tree. "Come Worm, the Shire is ours." The Scouring of the Shire is complete and the wheels of industry will mar the Shire for a thousand years.

Yates, Robin Smallburrow, was killed and left as bird food

Zashara, Will Whitfoot, was murdered in cold blood

Tina, Saruman, and Wombat, Wormtongue, have won!

Also the late Sili, Lotho Baggins, he won as well!

Thx for running a good game, Nolder.  I probably wouldn't have made Crusher's role stealable but other than that, you did a great job.  Don't feel bad about the activity at all.  Like I alluded to in the mafia QT, my inactivity was independent of the game.  Also, the only super-active townie we didn't shoot was Yates, and he had to go attend the birth of his kid, so this game, which started out on the slow side due to holidays slowing signups down, just worked out that way.

Yay!

Thanks for the game, Nolder. I really liked your scenes and the setup. The inactivity wasn´t because of this game - several people (including me) was ill, we had a wedding and a birth. Sure, it could have been more active but I also prefer games that haven´t got 20 pages of spam.

I really did my best to imitate townTina. That´s why I choose to go after Red. It would have bit me in the ass if we hadn´t killed Red. You played great, Red. My goal was to be more active later in game too but then I worked too much and got stressed. The only time I actually lurked was when I was waiting for Wombat to show up so we could speadlynch Krak. Timezones didn´t work good for us.

Nyn, great instincts as always. It was too bad that we didn´t lynch you the day after. You could have confirmed me as town. Although then it would have been hard to explain why I was left at endgame.

It was fun to play with Arsis and Zashara. I hope you´ll continue to play here, Zashara.

That's true. At least it never really actually stalled.

I can't ask for more than that. Now go take a break because I'm counting on you to play some fun games later in the year. :P
