When they finally arrived at Bag End their company had risen to three or four dozen hobbits. Everyone had to see what was going to happen next. Frodo opened the gate, memories of visiting his uncle and fleeing just a year earlier swirling in his head, and walked up the path to the door of his former home. He turned the knob and slowly cracked it open a few inches, just enough to peek inside, then he stopped. He turned around violently with tears in his eyes and drew his sword. "My dear hobbits, something is not right. A foul air has settled on the Shire. It leaks from my door here in Bag End. The machinations of industry scar our green land and we helped make that happen. We are a good folk, gentle and innocent, but yes standing idly by while evil does it's work is indeed helping. No more! We will not stand idly by and watch as our homeland burns!" The crowd of hobbits, silent until now began to cheer. "We will not watch as our friends and family are put into prison! We will not avert our eyes while our crops are stolen! We will not appease these Ruffians! We will fight!" More cheers. "We will fight! We will fight! Grab your axes and your scythes, your favorite walking sticks and your hunting bows, grab rocks and prepare your fists. We will fight! For the Shire! For...AUGH!" Frodo lurched forward clutching his chest while he dropped his sword. Sam opened the gate and began running up the path to the door while the hobbits shouted in rage but it was too late. Frodo collapsed flat on his face, dead from a knife sticking out of his back. Someone in Bag End had murdered the Ringbearer. The Scouring of the Shire has begun.

Why would you?  Kinda of early? No?  Bury a vote on someone with no votes on them?  Odd to say considering most peoples first votes on day 1 are typically made in jest or to stir the pot early.

I'm curious what you mean here in a 'how is this relevant' sort of way. Do you think his post was either of those things? If not, why mention it?

 

To me at least, it seems Krakus made a post to put his vote down on a mostly innocuous player, in a way that wasn't bent toward humor or jostling. So skepticism is warranted.

Crusher's vote on Sili seems weird. i can totally understand if he has not played with Sili, but if he has and has seen Sili post before, then I think it is a bit opportunistic\\

Yates seemed to try too hard to play how he plays as town initially. His later posts are more free and natural.

two things ping on this. 

 

1st it sounds forced, like your trying to appear as scum hunting and felt the need to post something game related that wasn't spam.

 

2nd is the "bury his vote on me" comment ....  it just doesn't sit right imo.  i can't place my finger on it, or describe why, but my gut doesn't like it

i saw your pushing on me as an attempt to get the game started, but got annoyed when you kept pushing after not getting anything from the push and think its starting come off less as trying to start the game and more as trying to nudge a train and trying to box me into a play style corner

 

that said, townie points for a legit attempt to get the game started beyond D1 spam (or in this case D1 quiet)

 

 

I´m not seeing any train and I doubt I could force you to play one way or another even if I wanted to.

Kinda contradictory here. On one hand you're giving Tina brownie points for being aggressive... but what she was aggressive about was Red, which you're saying you 'don't get' and disagree with people's suspicion of her.

I also need to re-read but I will probably not be able to do it tonight. Crusher is my strong town lean. Red is probably town. Yates is possibly town. I don´t have a feeling on many of the players since they haven´t posted much.

Do you know you can go to Home Depot with any piece of food and they have a machine that will match the color exactly?  Trying to get Mrs Crusher to repaint the bedroom Steak, bacon and Cheesecake.  She said no.

Yeah but then you have to put your steak, bacon, and/or cheesecake against that silly little piece of glass where some kid decided to match "booger" as his favorite color. And I really like steak, bacon, and cheesecake but I don't really like booger.

 

Plus, it only gets you "in the neighborhood" with preexisting Behr colors. AND 9 times out of 10 the ones at the stores by me are broken - I'm assuming - because they had hit their booger quotient.

 

Where the heck are my red reads? I'm probably voting Pral but Arsis is my second choice if he comes in with a decent/convincing post.
