If we are talking sinister resolutions I'm sure I can think up a few for the people who send me reports: now, I'm not saying that they have to be perfect, but I would be much happier if they stuck to one tense in a sentence and referred to person they are talking about with the correct gender.

 

When they write 'Miss Smith has no hobbies he likes to watching tv.' I get the urge to send a copy back with the mistakes corrected and go visit them with a large mallet or something.
