Greeting, everyone!  Been out of mafia a while but here goes...

 

I have to admit this should be amusing to watch you try to read someone you've never seen before… commence!

 

 

yeahh.... it has started.... will take time getting used to tracking all new names for me..... 

 

I am going to say this now so I don't make dumb mistakes later:

 

I think I have a bad tendency to box out players I don't know very well. I haven't played with either of you before, so here's my tl;dr - my name is Cory, I tend to post a lot and get really involved in games. I'm very competitive. So here's a little quick question/answer for both of you - if it seems not game-related or inane please answer it anyway to humor me:

 

1 - Do you prefer being town or Mafia? What aspect of the game do you enjoy?

2 - What do you think makes you valuable as a townie?

3 - What do you think makes you valuable as Mafia?

 

Err, off the top of your head do you have any links from DM you think would be good examples of how you play as a villager and as Mafia? I will probably browse old games when I get the chance for myself but want to give you the opportunity to see what games you are proudest of.

 

I feel like I shouldn't answer this... but I'm a nice guy.  I'll humor you this time. :wink:

 

1. Maf.  Confusing the crap out of people.  Even if they're on my team.

2. Being a mafia meatshield, because I always die as a villager.  Always.  Usually get lynched. :dry:

3. Um... winning the game for the mafia?  It's always fun killing that guy.  And you know who I mean.

 

My posting level during the week will probably be low as I am at work most of the day (lunch break now, yeeeeaaah).  Weekends might be a different story, depending on what is going on. 

 

There.  You now have enough information about me to tell what I am and what I will be in every game I ever join.... :rolleyes:

Please rephrase

In both cases you interact with someone who isn't your teammate (and whom you'll need dead eventually).

 

W/v and SK/v interactions are similar in that sense. His SK/v interactions were quite fine that game. Maybe except for clearing me on #lolreasons.

Hello lovelies! :wub: I've missed you all terribly. Feels good to be back! But I gotta get this out here first so that everyone knows: Hopfully my activity will be normal all through the game. But my dad in law is terminally ill and can die any day, so if/when that happens during the game, I'll probably be away for at least a couple of days.

 

 

 

 

 

I got CsamDice as town, and feel a slight iff on Tommmy, just gut.  that's basically what I got so far. Oh and of course Cory is LOCK CLEAR ;D

 

 

Yeah monstr is now my personal escort.

I promised him roses and chocolates every day.

 

Well then I expect ice cream and lillies!

 

also, what is "bonded" in the avatars

 

It's a site speficic thing. People who are close friends post a public "bonding" in a social group, it's basically just a way of saying "we are really good friends". It's related to the books that this site is about.

If he's trying to evolve his wolf meta yes

 

Keep in mind he's still a relatively inexperienced wolf.

 

He's pulled a ~180 between last two wolf games purposefully, if he's a wolf again he would want to get out ahead of the stampede to gain some villa cred in advance since he often falls into POE for low participation

 

Throwing out a meta take on someone isn't hard to do, in fact he's used good behavioral reasoning as a wolf in the past to justify his leans

 

But there's something subtle to his early jokingness and injected serious meta commentary that reads like a wolf changing gears too fast. That's why I mentioned mucks but you can use any player like that that's trying for a power wolf start

 

 

Eh? What is subtle about it? I had a couple of jokey posts initially and then started to look at the game. Looks like you are trying to invent reasons to justify your read.
