Well I quit my course early, so I'm available now, but I would prefer a hydra partner, situation with my dad in law being as it is. If he dies my activity level will drop and so I'd like a partner so I don't screw up the game. He's still going strong so he'll hopefully hang in until over Christmas, but there's no guarantees!

@csarmi - I intend to follow this game as live as possible either way, but I don't think it will be fair on anybody if I'm actually in it and unable to commit- Hydra or solo. (We've got 4 weeks to coordinate and execute an interstate move, Xmas, toddler's bday, friend visits etc). I'd love to play, and Hydra could be cool... what if I see where we're at when the game's almost live?

 

If you get the chance go with Mish though. My chances of playing before Jan are slim to none...

^^ This - mostly people request to play as a hydra when one or both of them feel like they aren't going to have time to be as active in the game as they'd like, or may have a RL conflict during the run of the game that will prevent them from participating for an extended period of time.   And sometimes people double up when there are limited slots available and too many people want to play.

Might help to know that I'm from the 2+2 poker forums (user name CPHoya), where I moderate, and where I've apparently played approximately 150 long games and like 300 turbos (?) over about 5 years. Crazy.
