Cory got to three first, so he's the plurality lynch. Now, here's where my question lies - you vote Cory at 12:30. Wagons are now Cory 4, Monk 3. Cory is the current lynch because numbers. However, Hallia unvotes and phase ends with wagon at this:

 

Cory - 3 - Nyn (11:05), Leelou (11:06), Tom (12:30)

Monk - 3 - Clov (12:00), Wombat (12:01), AJ (12:03)

 

Who gets lynched?

The way I see it, any wagon that is the "leader" remains the leader until there is another leader.

 

In this case Cory is the leader for the entire scenario, and is the lynch despite time stamps.

 

 

This is how I would resolve it, too.  Cory was never overtaken.

I would assume to prevent rushed lynches for stupid reasons (like policy lynching, not talking about poorly constructed cases) and to promote people actually discussing things.  I also think it puts more emphasis on strong scum play, but opinions vary on that.
