BFG - who do you want to lynch today? Why?

 

At the moment I have 6ish people I'm not interested in lynching. I'm following Key on Berf for now as she's been following the game more closely, we're hashing out some ideas at the moment. Roughly our lists are similar, she has Thane/Arsis lower, Des higher, swap some of the others around lower on the list.

I'd rather hear more about how you're right about who the scum are rather than hear about how I'm disqualified from being right about who the scum are

 

I didn't say your disqualified from being right, (although you're wrong), I am concerned when somebody says they can read me easily, especially when it's somebody with a lot of influence, when they have never given proof of such.

 

 

So, neither Key or I can be around much tomorrow so we're tomorrow's lynch unless Tommy and co get bored :rolleyes: given that we have 5 votes and AJ and Alanna are waiting to vote us?

 

The 5 votes are because I could be using RL (posted about in sign up thread) as an excuse to hide as a wolf, and because Key is 'inside her wolf range' and Tommy/Cory claim to be able to read us 'easily' when town?

 

I am busy with work this week. This isn't made up, this was posted before Role PMs went out. It is NULL.

 

Tommy and I have played 6? Games prior to this, in 3 he was mafia and I was town. In 1 he replaced in as mafia when I'd already been NK, In 1 I was mafia and he replaced in as town, and in the final we were town town. In the Town-Town game he incorrectly read me as mafia (incidentally he also read Key/Yates as mafia) don't get me wrong that was by far my worst game ever, I fell behind quickly and couldn't catch up. I don't blame anyone for reading me incorrectly in that game.

 

The point is that Tommy has never read me correctly as town town, so take his claim to read me 'easily' with a pinch of salt.

 

Cory and I have been town town once as lovers, characters making alignment more or less confirmed, and he was SK in a game I was town. His townie meta for me, is just weird! In one game I joked and rhymed during the first few hours of d1 as my character was a really bad poet in a theme that I geek out about. I tend to avoid fluff unless I'm around early D1. Other than that he's also saying that I'm avoiding the game because I dislike being mafia, see above.

 

I don't really understand where Sili thinks I'm pushing Tommy from, he's neutral for now.

Do not worry BFG/Key. I will get to the bottom of this and uncover your true alignment. I have instincts like a basset hound for the hunt.

 

 

Both you and Key encouraged a tommy lynch without pushing it.

Tommy, I can't offer you a good counter lynch.

 

I've skimmed half this thread and won't be able to devote time until Monday at the earliest. Can probably remove you from my POE until I've had chance to check some other things out.

I'd rather not. I hated when you asked Yates/Key in WS, it feels like Role PR matching, which feels outside the spirit of the game.

I think I remember Sili getting better as time goes on so I'm happy to trust Tommy's read on him atm
 
Tommy/Thane/monstr/Leelou/dice are my most confident villagers. Halleh and I are probably stronger than most on Leelou TBH but Yates hasn't helped that slot's readability.
 
There's a lot of Key stuff that bothers me but I might just speed skim the rest of the thread and see if anything changes. BFG has been low-volume but has had some villagery posts but I think I typically read Key better and have been able to identify her has a wolf early so I'd love to see more content from her. If my read is wrong, please correct it.  :flamingsword:

I'm going to look through the DHEL game to confirm my thoughts on Arsis. He typically trolls around as a villager but usually he makes his observations on threadflow and here almost all of his claws are reactionary to early pushes on him. He can openly troll the thread as a wolf so I'm not going to clear him for dumb things like his troll cc of Tommy or rampant hyper-OMGUS that he's done before as a villager.

I think English is his second language and it leads to a lot of things that would probably make more sense in his mother tongue.

 

His interaction with Verb made no sense to me at all from either side. I think he was just trying to figure things out rather than a scum slip. He is more active than usual as well. Which is probably town motivated?

 

I just don't feel that Town!Arsis makes this read on Thane. I remember him being much more reasonable in approach in DHEL instead of trolly Arsis antics ~early until heat got on him, in which he abused the hell out of his villager meta to completely remove himself from the D1 lynch pile and was basically miscleared for the remaining entirety of the game

I still don't dislike an Arsis lynch. It felt like he only shed his fake persona recently, since last night. But why a fake persona at all?

 

I felt more like I was being leveled than Arsis was being genuine

I remember I (correctly) cleared Arsis in the ABBA game after he went nutso and started attacking really dumb things (like the Me/Mynd/Nyn discussion in which I (correctly) told them they were v-v and he thought we were all wolves) and he thinks that going @ me is one way to make me think he's a villager since I've given out ~townreads before for the willingness of people to go at me

 

I think he's just trying to get clear for doing his "towntroll" act. I'm going to sleep now but if I have time at work I'll skim DHEL to see if I'm remembering what happened there correctly. I recall him being basically THE Day 1 wagon for some time for being off early (which he was here) and then him ramping up the troll mode and getting cleared by basically everyone for it
