As to getting two night phases, i guess it's a way of the cop getting more time to investigate players without the possibility of a mislynch in between, but it carries more risk. it's a net-loss.

Instead of just reacting, think about it for a sec.  You are - for all intents and purposes - a lightning rod tonight.  That means I expect you to be dead, cleared, or condemned by D2 at the latest.  Easy deal to make, imo.

here's an analogy.

 

you have a character with a weapon. he may attack, but takes damage,or can heal himself for 3 points every round. The question is then, would you take damage or heal 3 points? There are 6 rounds. You may only attack once. Every round you do not attack the damage you recieve will increase by 3 points.

 

So what now? Do you decide to heal, or to attack?

 

The answer is it doesn't matter in what order you do it.

The only way to win this game is to change the rules. Something like heal more than three points or take less than 3 points of damage.
