I think I HAVE followed up on that, which is why I landed on Dice as scum.

 

Dice has been semi aggressive to be sure, but if town he would have been going ALL OUT trying to get his top scum read lynched as town started getting into a big hole

Thane was EASILY the easiest person to read as town yesterday. Imma channel Salami for a sec and scold all of y'all for lynching him, cause MY GOD that was a terrible lynch.

Go back and check the difference between how I behave when I'm about to be lynched as scum, and as town. As scum I often sow wifom throughout the game, but when the jig is "up" so to speak, I often don't fight my lynch that hard at all. Takes too much energy, and I know any attempts to sow wifom at that point will be completely ignored.

 

As town I am much, much, MUCH more likely to scrape and fight my lynch to the last second, because I care a lot more about being mislynched as town than being lynched as scum

Has to do with my personal philosophy about playing scum. I don't play to stay alive- I play to cause as much chaos and wifom as possible and try to lead town to mislynching. I don't actually care whether or not I die if I'm mafia.

 

As townie I care a WHOLE LOT MORE. In general I like playing town more anyways- I like the challenge of having to figure everything out

I just disagree with this. If you're a town PR, you do everything you can to not reveal. You're a cop and you get a guilty on someone? You build a case and go after them. You don't reveal, because then you've got one scum, but you're probably dead after that and no more use to the town for the rest of the game. And Despo explained why he wavered on them for a little while, anyway.
