I have seen vote controlling in games, but I've never seen anyone being forced to post stuff, short of PRs as punishments by the mod of the game.

I've played in two such games.

 

One pretty recently hosted by Darthe (Yates should know he was scum there, Wombat was controlled by TG and we went straight two mislynches).

 

The other was Dap's adventure time mafia where i controlled Mish and got her lynched.

As far as the Jester theory goes... I don't know. I think he could get himself mislynched in easier ways. He didn't seem that interested in getting mislynched on D1. Suddenly on D2 he goes 180 and gets suicidal?  Also, why choose Des? He would have an easier time at mislynching someone who's been getting a lot of attention by most people. For instance if he said he saw Hallia visiting Wombat, I'm sure it would have turned a lot more heads. And yet he chose Des, who's been mostly townread by people. Mislynching on account of his tracking would mean certain death... so why not go for a more certain lynch that would lead to his death for sure?

 

It doesn't really make sense in my head.

Can you tell me how it worked exactly? What kind of control was it?

I got a QT with Mish and she had to post exactly what i told her to.

 

Same with TG and Wombat. Real time real interaction is hard to fake but TG did manage to have Womby do just that.

 

Post 200+ useless vote and other stuff on QT (most of it is copy paste) is easy peasy.

I had Mish lynched by making her post some nonsense stuff. Then she made a mistake and copied from QT. Someone latched onto it. I had her defend that badly.

Bailing is somewhat against the spirit of the game there. If you are controlled you arent really supposed to change your online habits. Not fair.

Well whoever is making Sili do that is being a jerk (or himself if faking it). I mean... There ought to be limits.

and you are falling for it why? because you do not care? nothing else you do or say or talk about today matters at all when i have given you this information.
 
i came here to play with good players and instead it is a bunch of people blundering and ignoring when an investigator gives them info that would help complete the puzzle. this is unduly labersome.

I just have a weird feeling about this. Once Silli said Des visited Wombat on N1.... I expected Des to show guns abalzing, raging, thunderdoming with him and taking him out.

 

But he drops by.... is like all.... yeah, he's lying.... but he could be jester so we might want to back off. I mean, he did vote him (I think he was the third one to)... but he did keep following up with posts of hesitating. I  kinda expected him to be leading this lynch. Not to say that there's anything wrong in theorizing.... but I don't know... when someone is basically labeling Des as scum by a NA.... I would expect TownDes to smite him down.

 

Does anyone agree or am I just expecting him to react this way because I've come to kinda expect the worst from him? lol

 

This isn't a bad idea either - I can see where you're coming from.
