FTR wombat, starting up not-discussed wagons at EOD is POG 101.

 

The chance of scum is higher where there's no pressure, all other things equal.

 

Yeah, but this wasn't a normal CFD.  SP has almost no content and had stated he wouldn't be back for a while, so the info potential was very limited.  Regardless, I'm not scumreading you or Leelou for it.

That makes him a better scapegoat. But you should have more faith that I know what I'm doing. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's mafia games.

Starts off with jokey fluff votes. Notes that Wombat is being over defensive. I'm actually cool with this observation because I wasn't that happy with how Wombat came into the game. He's improved considerably since.

 

Makes confident sounding posts like "I'm not skurred" and the likes. Gives Tom a town read because she thinks scumTom would have abided by the 50 posts thing and use it a a tactic. Doesn't really make sense IMO so it comes across like a suspiciously premature town read for Tom. But as I've mentioned earlier, I've seen Hallia use certain reasoning in past games as town that didn't sit well with me.... so I'm not feeling as sure of this being scummy. Tommy responds to her town read and says it's not a good way to read him, to which she responds... oh so you're scum?  Smiley at the end suggests that she's just busting his chops.

 

Goes back to comments that show how fierce she is. "I don't get rustled. I'm unrustlable." Could see this coming from either scum or town Halli.

 

Then she votes AJ because of him saying his townie streak was ending. Her ending the post with BWAHAHAHA kinda makes you wonder if it's a legit vote or not. But as she continues talking it's apparent that it is a serious vote and she claims that he's likely that after rolling so many times town he rolled scum this time. Totally BS and I'm finding it very hard to believe that she would actually think this to be true. On the other hand, I feel like she's seriously moving into the too scummy to be scum territory. Beyond the awful reasoning which is awful.... she goes for AJ, of all people. Not a LHF. Which makes this whole thing.... weird. I just don't see how any scumster would think this would ever work.

 

​Then to add insult to injury she tries to spin the situation as if her vote prompted AJ to appear. Which was never the case. This is probably what bothered me most about her posts. It's completely opportunistic. Like she got heat for the terrible reasoning behind the AJ vote and instead of accepting it and moving on she keeps pushing it. Anyways when she get called out on it... she corrects herself and says his posting rate spiked after her vote. Then she throws in another confidence boost line of saying how she ain't worried. She finally tells AJ that she gets it and unvotes.

 

Then some more fluff posts. Tries to poke salami for reads. Says: "I get the feeling we might have one scum in this chatty group, and the rest are laying low." I really wish she wouldn't throw these kinda of things in the air. Where is this feeling coming from? Is it someone specific she thought seemed scummy? She just throws in a vague comment and finishes with that.

 

Another post of her saying she ain't worried. And a third time she asserts that she ain't worried to Des. Then when Des says that the above vague sentence is useless, she says that he can't know unless he's scum. Well... yeah. lol  And then she does the horribleness of saying there's no way she could be in a scum team with Thane and Salami cause what are the odds that they would roll scum together again. Ugh. It's true that the odds of that specific group would be low... but just.... horrible way to counter. 

 

She goes on soft defending Salami. Telling the rest of us to give him time and that it gets better. More jokes. Challenging AJ to get at her.

 

She asks tommy what she could do to change the scum feel. She also agrees with Tommy it's weird how so many are reading her as scummy but not voting. Not really a bad observation.

 

Then there's the whole vote on Alanna which was actually not as bad as her previous vote on AJ. I could kinda see why it clashed in her head. Because Alanna mentioned that people were talking too much about meta and then talked about meta herself. I don't think it merited a vote though because Alanna did clarify that the reason behind her scum read on Halli was more to do with her over-confidence and the way the whole thing with AJ went down of her vote occurring after he showed up and not before.

 

Then once Alanna clarifies Halli is like... fair enough.... and takes AJ's suggestion of just following him and Tom on Wombat. So she unvotes and votes Wombat. I don't find this move to be scummy from her part. Hallia sometimes sheeps when she gets lost. Plus she did mention that Wombat seemed a bit off to her. This is prolly her least horrible vote between the three she cast up until now.

 

Then she pokes me for FOSing AJ but having my vote on her. I explain.

 

 

Just because I don't do long WoT doesn't mean I'm doing zero.  I'm sorry you feel that way.

 

It's D1, there isn't much to go on besides guessing.

 

This post specifically gives me a confused townie vibe. Like I legit get the feeling that she doesn't really know which way to turn. And I think she's frustrated that people are discounting our contribution. 

 

 

 

I didn't think my fos on her was bad at the time.  It sounded ok to me in my head, so I went with it.  Isn't that what this whole game is about?  It didn't go anywhere, she cleared it up and we moved on.

 
I also liked this post. Hallia doesn't seem afraid to make mistakes or to change her vote. This rings true to me.
 
 
She FOSes Silly and have a bit of back and forth with Des. After doing a bit of a reread she agrees with Wombat when he says: "Scum leans on Thane and Sili so far.  Don't totally like either Salami or Tommy, but still within null range." And she unvotes Wombat. I approve of this unvote btw. The more Wombat posted, the better he started looking. But as she rereads she kinda goes back on him a bit. lol  Oh well.
 
She quotes stuff I said about Lee and says she has a good feeling about both of us. Says Clov sounds fishy (which he did :P). 
 
Then a bit more fluff and the whole Des being a meanie head. Then she revotes Wombat and says that she has a town read on Salami and Clov. Scum read on Thane. The way that she goes back and forth reinforces my feeling that she's both confused and is trying to figure things out.
 
She later unvotes and votes Thane, saying she'll follow Des about this. She later claims Vanilla which tells me... absolutely nothing. Hallia believes in early claims, to everyone's dismay. So she could be doing it as a townie or as a scummy.
 
Then she reiterates her saying early on that AJ was scummy. I think this is in response to Des' opinion of him. 
 
Comments about Sili's vote on Leelou, telling him it's wolfy. Keeps FoSing Silli about changing votes all the time (which is a bit funny coming from her), breadcrumbing PR, sowing wifom about there maybe not being a doc. I think she's overreacting a bit to his content. His vote on tom, for instance seemed like purely a joke lol  As far as wondering if there could be no doc.... he's a newbie... I'm wiling to give him the benefit of the doubt about that specific thing.
 
Tom mentions her not being peppy. But she mentioned that she's been sick so it's not something I'm gonna label as suspicious.
 
FoSes SP on being inactive. It's legit. But as I said before, he's been scarce as town before so I don't think this argument holds.
 
Later she unvotes and votes Pral. Pral does seem off. And he's being a bit more inactive than he usually is, which I'm not sure how to interpret. But he is on my null to scum list so I don't have any particular problem with this vote.
 
 
The only thing that really bugs me about it is that she has Verbal on null to town and I don't quite understand why. I don't really agree with her on Sili and SP. But I think reading Sili is very subjective right now, considering we don't have experience with him and he likes to be a bit too jokey. Sometimes it's hard to tell if he's serious. As for SP.... I don't think he belongs anywhere that isn't null. But Hallia has a lot more experience with him so I don't feel it's something I'd hold against her as long as she fully admits it's a meta read... which I suppose she did.
 

 
All in all, Halli has quite a few logic fails and there are a couple of things she did I think are scummy. But she did improve later on with her reread and I feel like she's been a lot more open about her thought process so I can follow her train of thought better, even if I don't necessarily agree with her.
