Well then let's lynch Yates

Again, if you're town, your plan is bad.

Are you gambiting or flailing right now?

POE

At this point Verb's plan isn't great if he's scum.

How is that different from me putting myself in the lynch pool on Day 2?

Here's my problem right now.

I would think that scum would be most likely to play into Verb's plan because it wins them the game.  Dice has said he'd likely vote Verb and Misheros said they'd vote me.  Verb obviously wants to vote me.  I'm kinda lost at the moment tbh but I'd rather lynch Verb than myself because I know I'm town and I think he has hurt town a lot by coming up with his theory on me.  You're really the only one who's thinking outside of this scenario.  I recall you having a pretty good scum game and it seems to me that your position is pretty good for scum at this point.

But mainly what concerns me is that if I'm the lynch then I don't really like the pool of players left in the game.  Not because of skill but because of wifom and I feel that everyone has played pretty town.

but if there's agreement with Verb's thought that I need to go to clear some air then that's fine with me.

I'm not saying I want to be the lynch, but if it's most helpful for town then that's fine.

Yates putting himself in the lynch pool D2 isn't the same as your partner-suicide plan and they shouldn't be equated at all.  You should know they aren't the same, Verb.

To me this looks like Verb falsely agreeing with Yates hoping to get Yates on his side, but I think it's pretty clear I've tin foiled myself into oblivion.

Vetinari was fuming, the letter he'd received via albatross from the Counterweight Continent had been downright sarcastic, demanding reparation for the murder of their citizen. The current exchange rate, meant that paying the fee would bankrupt Ankh Moorpark, he could ask Vimes to deal with it, but the man was preoccupied at the moment. Maybe Moist could go...

Current VC:

Krak (1): Krak

Not Voting (4): Dice, Verb, Wolfish, Yates

With 5 alive it takes 3 to lynch

Krak.  Krak, Krak, Krak...

First - voting yourself isn't incredibly helpful if Town.

Second - voting yourself looks like AtE.

Third - you agreeing to "the plan" then looking for ways out of it is suspicious as hell, as Verb has pointed out numerous times. I don't know why you would agree to it if you never - you know - AGREED with it.

Fourth - I don't even know what you are trying to say here:

So you think scum would want to play in to Verb's plan but you voted for me because I *DIDN'T* go with Verb's plan and that puts me in good position as scum? As opposed to just going with the plan you agreed to and winning the game?

1) I'm not locked in or anything

2) It's not

3) Did I agree with it?  I'll have to go look.  I don't like the plan because I'm not convinced Verb is scum.

4) My point was that my two blue players are engaging as am I, and as is Verb.  We can't all be scum, so that thought it pretty much worthless.

5) Both you and Verb are making good points which is really bothering me because I think it's likely one of you is the remaining scum.

3. Yes. You did. Also... Dude. I've been telling you Verb is Town since you started tunneling on him! This isn't new information. I told you exactly why he should be a blue read and you still went down that path...

4. I still don't know what that means.

You telling me Verb is town doesn't really do anything for me first of all.  He's been the most objectively scummy player imo for a while.  It doesn't help that it's pretty much just you two around.

*tinfoil*

Is it possible scum is sitting back and watching us cannibalize as a cleared blue read??

This is what I think about that...

With that in mind, we are probably clearing people for the wrong reasons.

Probably Misheros

This is what I think about that...

My other problem, I'm realizing, is that hydras are difficult to read. I was in the middle of asking Mish when they decided that I was a blue read for them after reading her AWOL post I quoted because I remembered Kronos being suspicious of me earlier on and saying he thought he was going to vote me. It seemed like a contradiction and I am concerned about buddying towards the end of the game. Like, are they testing me to see if I'd be on their side in a LYLO situation? In the process of looking for quotes, though, I realized that the Mish head had been Town reading me from early on and - if you recall - was the head that stopped the CFD on me at the end of D1 with the assumption that I'd flip Town. It's like, I'd lynch Kronos today but have Mish as blue as Dice this game, and I don't know how I feel about that - lol.
