So, I'm going to interrupt the game for a moment here.  My apologies in advance to Pralaya for this rant post, but please read it and know it is 100% serious.

 

 

The very next time I have to hide a post on this board due to excessive swearing, I'm banning the member who did it.  I don't care if they've been a member for 10 minutes or 10 years.  I don't care if they are my bestie on the site, or somebody I could care less about.  They will receive a temp ban and I won't bat an eyelash.  I've had enough of you all taking the rules of the site (and my lenience) for granted.  That ends now.

 

The very next time I see another account being created for mafia, WHEN I'VE SPECIFICALLY TOLD AND COUNSELED PEOPLE ON THIS BEFORE, will result in a ban for both parties involved.  If you don't like the rules of this site, go find another one.  If you want to assume I'm going to continue to be lenient, please call my bluff and see what happens.

 

If you say "sh*t" in a post, I'm not banning you.  But the ones I had to hide - and there was more than the obvious one from Des - had bad stuff in there.  If Jason (site owner) came across that, he'd perma-ban in an instant and that would be that.  Instead, this is my final act of leniency on Dragonmount.  I can't count the amount of times I've let stuff slip.  But the cursing and hydra accounts are done.

 

If anybody needs a reminder of the site rules they agreed to when they created their account, please mosey on over to the Forum 101 board and read up.  If this place isn't cleaned up immediately with respect to cursing, account management, and general attitude on personal attacks.......I'll shut the board down for a while.  There will be no mafia on DM.

 

 

This will be my only post in this game.  I will be following it, though.  Again, my apologies to Pralaya (and Cory, as I think he's modding, too) for interrupting.  If you have specific questions on this, please PM me.  I can't promise to not show my annoyance in responses, but I will promise to be open-minded and reasonable(ish).

Just letting everyone know since I was absent yesterday.

 

 

Tuesdays are pretty much a dead zone for me as far as mafia goes - work from 10-5 and class from 6-9 then I spend the rest of the night with homework for Wednesday where I spend the entire morning reading and writing and class from 5-8.  I should usually be on after that, but I can't always promise I will.  Don't let my absence stop you from voting me or addressing me or whatever, but know that I'm not ignoring the game on purpose and will do my best to be active on those two days as much as I can be.  Otherwise the rest of the week is good for me.

 

 

Tl:dr - Tuesdays and Wednesdays are spotty for me

Haven't done that much I'm sorry to say. 

 

Claimed bodyguard. Went after AJ. Got a train going on me because Tommy thought (thinks?) I'm "slimy" and some people followed (as people do when Tommy does something). Wanted to vote Thane EOD but switched over to Len (because... well, lets be honest here, we all do what Tommy says, heh). 

 

My take on game:

 

We got AJ and Tommy locked clear beyond doubt. 

 

Got a good feeling about you (Csarmi) and Des too. 

 

So, left we have:

 

BFG, DT, Kates, Dice, Krak, TG, Arsis/New guy and Thane. 

 

I can hardly remember anything BFG has written. I'll look it up and come with my views here. 

 

DT is pretty meh. Always find it impossible to read him. Find the symp idea pretty far out though. [/wishwash]

 

Kates... Kates... This is the most obvious though. I can totally relate to the frustration of dealing with the Tommy/Des freight train, and the constant bickering on thread. However, they are both extremely skilled players and I think if they were town they would be a force to be feared by mafia team. Done more or less nothing except letting themselves be cornered by Tommy and his "posse".

 

Actually, I'm gonna put in the work now, ISO all the players I have listed to make some coherent reads, because I've let myself get distracted too by Tommy/Des. Be back with more. Ask if you want something answered or a stand on something specific.

I don't even have the questions yet detail, he Tommy/Des tag team on Keyates. I've been skimming so I only got impression. Which is horrible for them cause they do seem to be off and over defending. Not sure if it's cause they are attacked so hard it sticks or cause they really aren't doing anything at all. Gut says scum.

 

If you wanna look into something in detail, check that spat.

 

Also how do you feel about Dice? I think I vatn read him well but I'm not certain cause I'm not immersed enough in the game.

TG ISO reread looks town.

 

Krak ISO looks sketchy.

 

In ironic fashion, argues against lynching Len because “has no good reason”. Says nothing after the five post ISO on darthe.

Unvotes and votes for Vos at a time when darthe and Len were vote leaders.

 

Votes for Len because he “doesn’t remember him posting a reason for him not to be around”.

 

Later states that Len is a slight scum read, but doesn’t mention why, or a reason for his view on Len changing. I suppose maybe it’s because he wasn’t around, but he doesn’t say that, nor did he say he thought it scummy when he voted him.

It only took her a minute to find the quote which makes me think she knew where it was which makes me think she knew who said it which makes me think she didn't post my name originally because she wanted to distance from her read on me a bit so it wouldn't look like she was tunneling?

I don’t like how she just includes Len in her list of suspects(http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/90930-advanced-woodstock-1969-mafia-day-2/page-57?do=findComment&comment=3330059) without providing a reason. Seems like an easy way to include a team member.

AJ sumary:

 

Strange going after Csarmi and Darthe. Gets cranky when Csarmi doesn't "play the game". FOS's Des but then goes on to protect/buddy. Votes (quite randomly?) Darthe. Tries to take the "town leader" role. Blantantly (and irritatingly) attacks Csarmi with the whole "get on my level" (pfft). Being very submissive when communicating with Tommy.

 

I dunno. We're like 24 hours into the game and most people haven't said more than hullo. But from the pile, this is the thickest straw

I dunno about the soft claiming, really. All I know is discussing your tactic out in the open is counter productive.

 

Des: It's not black and white though. I mainly agree with you, however, soft claiming can be a good way for VTs to draw kills away from PRs.

 

So Thane's soft claim can go ahead and float around there, it can be either way, let's leave it to mafia to try and decipher it, yes?

 

I'm gonna go ahead and [v]Darthe[/v]. Even though he hasn't been on any of my lists. I haven't really paid any attention to him this game. Seeing his posts in succession (thnx Tommy) made it a pretty safe place to lynch today.

 

What changed your mind? Darthe hasn't posted anything more than when you're voting AJ in part for voting Darthe?

 

And I don’t like her autoclearing people based solely on wagon votes. Especially two people (Vos and Thane) that she was suspicious of in earlier game.
