i see that i'm being set up as lynchbait here.... Csarmi, if you're really town, than i would think you'd have better suspects than me, really.... the only thing i will confirm here is that i'm town, but that's about it. You don't buy it? Your loss. It's a game, and i'd like to play untill the end and finish this game with town victorious. I doubt it'll happen, but we'll see

The problem with a post like this is it might be your true feelings but it also sounds like whinging and is classic whyme fryme.

Yates and I are both out of town this weekend - for different reasons, pretty sure. Otherwise would be weird if he was here for my husband's birthday O.o

I wasn't included in the role PM off the bat, was just added last night while I was asleep, so I'm trying to catch up on mobile atm.

Confirmed.

Yates was in Chicago from Thursday morning to Sunday night.

Key was not cced on the original role pm.

Yates created this account and a hydra QT this morning.

Yates has posted thoughts on pages 1-15.

Key hasn't posted in the QT yet.

Can you paraphrase these QT thoughts for me

Yep. From Yates:

(Pages 1-14)

Arsis claims to be bad D1 and yet pegged 2/3 scum on D1 in the Dr. Who game that recently ended.

Krak calls Hally town for "no" reason: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/90930-advanced-woodstock-1969-mafia-day-1/page-11?do=findComment&comment=3328231

AJ calls Des "possible scum" but gives him an "out" in post 182. Pings to me. Plus continuing a possible T v T argument.

Hally's post confirming Tommy's role based on her role is somewhat incredulous.

Salami - Post 248 accuses Des of rolefishing. That's a garbage argument. Doesn't look good for Csarmi.

This is Key. Rereading the game now and will post thoughts.

The AtE here is straight scumposting.

Tommy, i will tell you that you will have to trust your instincts and not someone elses if you don't know me. I've been mislynched D1 on a lot of occasions

See in the 3 games we played you were lynched Day 1 as mafia and Day 2 as mafia and town...

if you're going after me, go ahead. You're waisting your time on me and i'm not claiming D1 to save my hide. For the real townplayers, just keep an eye out for who actually goes after me here, should help finding some wolves.

Thane, whyme fryme.  Seriously, if you're town you should be less concerned with being lynched and more concerned with catching wolves.  Make this change to your mindset and you'll both enjoy it more and likely play better/towntell better.

wolves, mafia, scum, whatever you may call them

Just found it curious you said wolves. I don't think people on DM say wolves. I do, Cory does, Des does sometimes... made me cock my head a little.

P.S Please don't take this post as condescending in any ways as I really don't mean it that way.

welcome then, Kates. Any thoughts so far?

Yes.

Can you paraphrase these QT thoughts for me

I'm caught up to page 15 then took a break.

Summary through 15? Sure. Why not.

1. Dice looks like he is "claiming" Jimmy Hendrix in the same way Yates "claimed" Rose in Dr. Who. Enough said.

2. Yates felt Des was Townier looking in the Tommy vs. Des slug fest while Key disagreed with the caveat that she has trouble reading Tommy.

3. Arsis claimed to be terrible on Day 1 while gloating about being 2/3 in scum reads on Day 1 in Dr Who. Also, post 244 was gross.

4. AJ called Des possible scum but gave him an "out" in the same post [182] which pinged for Yates. Also took note of AJ perpetuating a potential Town v Town argument. Key did not like how AJ treated Key's posts [Yates hasn't read this far yet].

5. Yates noted Krak/Hally interaction.

6. Yates noted Hally post 234 and will be looking for more info to come. Key is not getting strong Town vibes from this slot.

7. Yates noted Csarmi "fishing" post 248 does not look great.

That's about all the game content so far - again, as of page 15.

Cool. Analyse your train then (or the ones pushing you). Which one of them does it from town perspective? Who is opportunistic? Who is not taking stance on you? Who should know better than vote you? And why.

yeah, upon rereading, it is... teaches me to work and mafia at the same time.

Anyways:

- no lynch on Arsis, wait for replacement.

- lynch Darthe, ok for me (hence vote)

I don't like pushing a lynch on a player who hasn't had a chance to respond in a long time. I'm not sticking up for him in any way at all. I just find it odd we're applying standards to players differently.

Double standards are UnAmerican!!! .....oh wait a sec

This is really frustrating. Most of the proposed lynches for today are slankers. That always makes me uncomfortable because they're low accountably / low hanging fruit and people haven't interacted with them so there's little to no spew to be gained anyway, e.g. BFG.

This is my struggle with the hybrid hammer lynch thingy. Not griping, just trying to get accustomed.

I guess I was griping earlier...sorry

i'm trying to hunt for scum, for real. And i'm not concerned about being lynched, that will be town's problem, not mine.

There's a game called Loup Garou, with cards, and loup garou in french is werewolf. i play that game with my family, and it has similar dynamics to a mafia game. That's why i say wolves.
