I think its kinda cumalative. i think tommy p'd a lot of people off in avengers and some are still feeling it. i know im reacting more negatively to him and am a bit readier then normal to take offence to things he says. good thing is im aware of it so i can try to override it.

Now not quite as scummy to me. His recent posts offering more substance in his read on me seem to justify that read somewhat- his first posts regarding me were mega weak imo. But I can see from his perspective how the recent stuff he mentioned might have made him develop a scum read on me. He's still wrong, but yeah there is reasonable doubt at least that his suspicions are coming from a genuine place.

 

One thing that confuses me however is his read on Dice in relation to me- he first said I spewed Dice as scum, which is jumping the gun a ton since A)I'm not scum and B) haven't flipped as scum (I won't), but either way his reasoning for thinking Dice would be my teammate is pretty weaksauce. First it was that I townread Dice, which meh, but then more recently he said Dice chainsaw defended me by attacking Csarmi.... but that's completely untrue. As Dice pointed out, he in fact was TOWNREADING Csarmi, not attacking him as scum. In fact, it was the way that Dice stuck to his guns on that read and properly backed it up with meta that made me lock Dice in as town (he still might be wrong about Csarmi, but regardless I'm pretty sure he is town)

 

But, that seems more like just misremembering things mebbe, doesn't seem like scum opportunistically jumping on the wrong thing.

 

So yeah, while TG isn't blue by any stretch, and maybe not even green, he's not red yet either anymore for me

As for AJ:

 

I believe I gave him some kind of tentative town read before, but I am starting to doubt that now. Before when he was saying that me and Tommy was town on town, it seemed to be somewhat of a contrary type opinion, and usually people who are willing to give out contrary opinions early on, especially when defending others D1 (thus putting their neck on the line somewhat) I see it as a towntell. However, since then AJ has now started talking about me as a suspect, and I certainly don't see what might have made him come to this conclusion after townreading me earlier. Seems totally fabricated and like he was trying to white knight two townies early on, but then when I got more momentum it seems he switched his stance on me to keep his options open in regards to lynch candidates.

 

Furthermore his tone is certainly off lately- as town he is more aggressive and direct, this game however he's hedging a lot more and acting uncertain of his reads, which is definitely out of character for his town game. Additionally he's giving out a lot of town reads somewhat indiscriminately imo, like iirc he gave a soft hedgy town read on both Csarmi and Krak and both seemed to be poorly justified, and there were other instances of this I believe I saw while catching up.

 

He is being vocal and seems to be putting in #work, which makes it so I prob wouldn't want to lynch him today, but I know he can also do this easily as scum, he is very much able to talk a lot and look active as mafia. Not sure if he's quite a red read, since part of me suspecting him is associative and could be OMGUS, but he's def not a townread anymore and I'm keeping my eye on him

@TG: You asked me to name one person I suspected who didn't vote or suspect me first, and I called out Arsis I think before anyone else did, and incidentally he's def the most obvious scum in the thread to me atm. Additionally he never suspected me before I suspected or voted him. I fos'd (may have voted, can't remember) Krak earlier in the game, and after reviewing that a while ago I remember it was for the bad vote on Tommy, looked totally weak and random (he voted Tommy to "clear up the wifom" which is ... yeah).

Speaking of Arsis- he's obvscum to me. I might make an iso on him, but yeah everything about his play so far screams scum. His opportunistic voting pattern is turrible- he's not even trying to actively push people he thinks might be scum, he just seems interested in lynching anyone other than himself. His response to Tommy recently about how he'd play as scum was awful, he tried saying he'd be acting completely different this game if he were, and even said he would have CC'ed Tommy's claim which is absolute dogshit. It was an obvious attempt to try and defend himself with bizarro meta to make himself look better. He's also WAAAAAAY too concerned with himself and his appearance, and essentially not concerned at all with actually trying to find scum

 

I kinda left Thane on the backburner for a bit cause I realize he can def be lynchbait and often looks scummy as town, but yeah with TG moving off my list Thane could prob take his place. His reads a while ago were as safe as they get, and failed tone tests as well. If he is scum that would make me feel slightly better about Csarmi incidentally since Csarmi called Thane out pretty early and it didn't look like a bus move (also Csarmi doesn't tend to bus for the sake of bussing, he'll try and react naturally to teammate's posts, but won't usually try and bus them to make himself look better)

 

As for Csarmi, haven't really seen anything from him recently so meh I'll keep him red for now but I don't really think I'd be trying hard to lynch him today.

 

I might do an iso on Krak to flesh that read out more- I don't think I'm wrong per se but I want to look for more specifics to back up the feelings I have on his slot. I will say tho that I've noticed he's a lot more active as scum than town- as town he often either doesn't care that much or falls behind very easily, but as scum he's more self-conscious so participates more.

 

Hrmmmmm what else- Key's drop in posts looked good for her. She's great at looking townie as scum, so I won't blue her yet, but might green her after I look at my POE again.

 

Lenlo's responses to minor pressure looked bad, and it's Lenlo so I'd def be down to lynch him either way. His thread presence sucks right now and he's not fluffing as much, which is more null for him anyways but eh he could be finally coming to the realization that fluffing a ton as scum WON'T keep him from getting lynched.

Actually, as the whole game was on weekend so far its no wonder if someone (anyone at all) havent done anything yet. It's DM after all.
