Despo, you've mentioned several times in the past that you purposely aggravate people as a way to scumhunt. You've mentioned that you think you get a more #real reaction by putting them off balance emotionally.  You and I have disagreed about the effectiveness of this based on how to read reactions. 

 

Honest question about what you think.  Do you think it looks different to the rest of us to aggravate someone just because as compared to aggravating them as part of your scumhunting? 

 

Edit: I haven't ever felt aggravated by you.  Just to be fair.

 

This is a good point and I have considered this. I do think there are small distinctions but I think you are right in that how it comes out can still be perceived as me just being a dick even if that's not my intention.

 

And I have admitted several times that my reaction was likely cumulative of a lot of things going on at the time. And Tommy might be telling the truth that he wasn't trying to rile me, I dunno.

 

Again tho, if someone is already upset, if anything I'm gonna try leaving that person alone and encouraging others too, or even stick up for them. Have done so many times. I was upset tho and people found it funny to keep prodding me. I still think that was uncool. I can see the scum motivation for keeping me riled up so I have no gripe with you. But Csarmi and Hallia both were kinda kicking me when I was down, that's what it felt like.

And Des if you got legit issue you contact the mods. And gripe to them and make them handle it. Its their job. Thread is for gameplay you see.

Not where I agreed with Tommy, but said something TO YOU. That was not nice.

 

You supporting Tommy WAS the part that hurt me. Like I said, in the past I have stuck up for you if I thought you were upset or other people were being too aggressive towards you or something

 

It was obvious Tommy had upset me but you got his back, letting me know you didn't exactly feel much empathy for me.

 

I feel I'm explaining my thoughts and emotions fairly well, do you understand where I'm coming from?

Eh this could have been a good idea. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Not a fan of tattletell type mentality but at the same time when I make it absolutely clear something is irritating me personally and people keep doing it that prob is the best course of action to keep from blowing up. I def don't like subbing out so didn't wanna do that even tho I considered it.

BTW Despo I do challenge you to find the source of your "csarmi never gives in as scum" myth cause it's baseless. I legit suck at being mafia. Only time I held up after being obvious scum was Wombat's Tinker-Tailor game but there we just went yolo after towqn PR rolled all over us day 2. And it wasn't me playing wim or acting cool or anything, I just sat around and let town try and swelf-destruct but had no wim - they obviously did turn to lynch me st some point anyway. It wasn't me playing well there, it was town over-thinking my game.

 

Two other games come to mind- one where you fake claimed Jailkeeper on a CPR Doc or something, can't remember which game. Pretty sure you know tho. Second one I remember very few details of but it was basic and you were the last scum and the last day was painfullllllllll because you would not give up and kept fighting till the very last second. I remember even the person who hammered you (Kaylee I think) was all doubting herself till the last second. I was dead at the time.

 

The Jailkeeper one was the TTSS game I was talking about. No idea about the basic game.

You can think someone is town and support them gameplay wise but still tell them to knock it off if they're being a jerk

Was it? I thought TTSS was in this forum, and the game I was thinking of was in BT

 

You're prob right tho, you have a better memory for that sorta thing

 

You did fight tooth and nail in the TTSS tho
