I said I don't understand how you're going to clear yourself UNLESS you're planning on having your partner claim.

Unless I've misinterpreted the role you personally via PM get the info from the lynch which confirms Darthe to you but not you to us.

I don't want to say it's some big ploy yet but I'm just...not understanding.

 

It's not really WIFOM if people generally think him town, it just confirms me/another mason in the long run and the longer the three of us are around the more of a liability we become for scum.  It totals to something very dangerous to them with little risk to town in comparison and if town hits a lull then targeting any of us three with any investigative PR essentially clears the others.  I don't see the issue.

 

It puts more trust in someone than I'm willing to without confirmation of some sort.

It means I have to trust Tommy, you by proxy, and someone unknown to me.

For what? Why should I do that? If the mason partner claimed then ok that at least tells me who his partner is even if he's scum but I don't think he was planning on having his partner claim so I don't get how he planned to confirm himself.

I am pretty tired.  Not in the space for puzzle solving right now, which is what it looks like I'd need to do to say more on this.  I started catching up at around 8ish and planned to be in bed by 11.  It's now 12:30.

This post doesn't make sense.  I was suspicious because if he gave his actual role claim today or tomorrow, you could ignore it, say he was claiming too many times, and no one would believe him.

This seems tempting but think about it first.  For a role cop/cop investigation, we are giving up a lynch (town's only chance to kill mafia).  Do this too much and mafia will start gaining a lead through kills that town can't surpass.  This role should only be used when necessary.  Unlike now!

 

Question: If Tommy is telling the truth what is stopping us from confirming every person every day? Darthe very well could be a BG and I'm sure we have a doctor?

 

Sounds too OP to me.

Mynd's smart and he knows people would want to do this.  When non-thinking town goes "Oh hey! Unlimited shots lets use it!", mafia will continue to kill more and more people, and even though we might catch one or two mafia this way, maf will kill cleared townies, and eventually gain advantage as the only reliable mostly town controlled kill method is lost.

 

My hammer ability isn't really that great.

It's kind of unpredictable.

Can everyone stop doing this?  Just because one person shows his hammer doesn't mean you have to pull out your own hammer and compare sizes.  You're giving mafia more and more information, and as more people reveal their roles just so they can gain the self-satisfaction of using their power, mafia's chuckling as they plan out their next move.

Because I have a very pro town power especially day 1 and I don't really believe tommy's 4th claim.

Darthe is pretty much clear, Marvel has been in a bunch of scenes by now.  I was wrong about his character claim though, I thought he was Rhodes (since he's a BG for Iron Man).

It's D1 and we can assume that mafia will be able to kill or counter your ability within a few days if not immediately.
