I don't remember anyone being silenced D2, just Tommy during N1 and that was almost certainly due to being jailed. Was there another silence?

 

It may be possible the D3 silence isn't due to an active role at all, but a passive role reacting to whatever action Tommy took last night.

It's possible or a scum was silenced and didn't say anything. Or, they didn't use it so as to screw with us. No real way to know. I'd love to know why dt visited tommy if not to silence him.

 

 

For research purposes and because I am entirely OCD when I get an idea in my head, I skimmed through the entirety of D2.

 

Nobody was silenced.  So, might have not been used or might have been blocked somehow.

But Bodyguard doesn't BLOCK the kill, it redirects the kill to the BG (with a chance of blocking it according to Darthe's role PM).

 

Of course, if the mirror ability was engaged, the kill would then direct back to whoever submitted it.

 

If it was Hallia who submitted it, it's like an infinite loop of insanity.

That's not role-fishing.  There were 4 people who could have silenced Tommy.  The person who I know is town didn't silence him, Vos said he investigated Tommy, and Tsuki said that he took his alignment with Tommy's, that leaves DT.  And Tommy was silenced.  So if you put 2+2 together, DT is the mafia silencer.  I'm giving him an opportunity to prove otherwise right now.

He was a watcher.  His purpose was to observe the (alleged) sentient beings through the universe and study them.  According to his prime directive, he was forbidden to interfere with their development; however, after watching a race that closely resembled his own, the humans grew on him and found a special place in his heart.  Through a loop hole in his prime directive, Uatu discovered a way for him to indirectly "help" these humans without directly interfering in their development.   He could provide the secrets of the universe, their existence, this game, and everything within openly and freely.....but it must be they who seek this info out.

 

Some, it seemed, needed more "help" than others.

 

There were a few that recalled an earlier game where clicking on some of the pictures gave clues to certain things while others were simply rewards for taking the time to read his scenes.  The NSFW video of Scarlett Johannson would have surely been a reward for some who were of age (sorry Dawn).  More importantly, Uatu went into the game confident that the human elite, the "heroes" if you will and their evil counterparts would have taken a moment to read the set of guidelines posted in what would be referred to as the Originalus Poastus, (or, Original Post) to the thread of existence in the universe.  The great OP contained a vast library of information and could unlock the secrets of the universe to to those who would seek it. 

 

From this tree of knowledge, one branch provided a link to the "Natural Action Resolution" matrix, which explained how some actions, when in conflict, would resolve.  Like with time-travel under the Back to the Future rules, which are universally understood to be the REAL time travel rules as opposed to Looper and TimeCop theorists, a terrible paradox could be unleashed upon the entire existence of the universe should certain absolutes not exist.  Powerblockers could not block themselves and Jailers could not become their own jailkeepers, at least, not physically.  Even the mighty Thor's hammer Mojo (what? how do YOU pronounce it?) would have restrictions within space and time.

 

Only one item could unravel this universal order and spread chaos through existence.  The Infinity Gauntlet.  It was today that Uatu discovered that this powerful item, when all six infinity stones have been placed within, would bring chaos to order.  The end of times, the OMEGA to our Alpha, dogs and cats would start living together, mass hysteria! It was today that Uatu saw this Infinity Gauntlet upon Thanos hand.  And the unspeakable things he had done with it already.

 

"You will go blind doing that," scolded Uatu.  Thanos just grinned.
