If another was in the game, using an item counts as a night action, so yes. GIFTING an item doesn't, however. It is separate.

Vote Count:

Rand(4)- Red, Hallia, Mynd, nervo

Mynd(1)- clov

Not voting(5)- Tsukibana, dawnflower, TGlems, Nyn, ReleaseTheEvil

With 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.

Deadline: 3AM 11 July EST

Fair enough. I was operating from the assumption that a person entering the room indicates a mafia kill.

Would a PGO shoot an item user, in this type of setup?

Would a Vanilla Town shoot an item user?  Both Pral and Despo were vanilla townies.  Pral soft claimed cop, or "scum slipped" as some said (lol), so my guess is that Pral was the mafia target.  I'm pretty sure Despo was a vig target.

Perhaps RTE could shed some more light on his "vision" that he totally didn't have?

I'm sure I am not the only one who read up on these.  My guess is that most of us townies are VT, with these items as our specials.  I'll bet that the mafia are vanilla goons as well. I'll bet a townie used Shrivelling on Despo last night.

Items:
Items in the form of objects and spells will be present- they are the same thing, functionally. Here is the list of them, although it is not exhaustive.

-Shrivelling: Night-Kill
-Glass from Leng: Watch
-Evil Eye: Turns a player into a Lightning Rod for the night.
-Elder Sign: Protect
-Cursed Stone: Target player Roleblocked and Voteless the next day
-Dominate: Vote Steal
-Voorish Sign: Allows two uses of targeted item in the casters possession. Must be targeted at self.
-Visions of Madness: Drives target player Insane.
-Illusions: Bus Driver- switches all actions targeted to one player to another and vice-versa.

-Now, each item provides a one-shot Night Action. If you already have a Night Action, you cannot use both it and an item in one Night.
-In addition, magic is a fickle thing. Whenever you use an item, there is a 10% chance that the effects target the caster regardless of chosen target, with the exception of Voorish Sign.

Fair enough. No comment, Mynd, on the fact that your targets couldve been completely random if you were struck insane by your Utterance?

Oh really Mynd? Is that so?  Well OK, if you say so...

Well unfortunately for Mynd, I don't take things at his word.  At the same time I asked Mynd to ask his question, I asked the same question to Hoof.  The answer he gave me said that if something were to happen like what you described (since he obviously can't confirm or deny what happened to Mynd) then it would be mod information.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Mynd, the slipping, mistake making scumbag.

There is absolutely no reason that Hoof would gave me the info to the exact same question that Mynd supposedly asked, to which he got PAFO.  This means directly that Mynd is trying to infuse chaos in this game so we don't know what is going on, so that he can push for me, and tomorrow try and slip out by saying he was insane.  There is no town that would lie about mod information, confuse the game, and not give information that, from his perspective if he was town, should actually help him push on me.

SO I TELL EVERYONE!!!!

Mynd has just slipped.  Read the above.  Aside from the whole Rand/Mynd dreamer thing, he has just lied about mod information he got, or didn't ask the question and lied about that in the first place.  There is no possibility here where he is town.  Everyone please

Did somebody try giving a gift to Tommy last night?

I still got nothing. I'm really disappointed.

Hastur Hastur Hastur.

I feel like a gambler at a slot machine. Come on baby, triple 7s!

I didn't get anything. You'd think with that awesome scene I'd have gotten SOMETHING...

No I still  you but I'm just frustrated that I didn't get a prezzie so I refuse to play until I do. (Jooooooooookes)

Hahaha OK.  Someone already mentioned this, but I think the most likely possibility is that you've been made insane.  Hoof said you wouldn't be told if you were made insane or not, and he hasn't told you anything yet, so sorry RTE.  I'm afraid you very well may be crazy.

No, I just was trying to figure out if using an Item requires the person to "be present" during the use (like Despo's death scene), or if it was "anonymous", like pral's (just dead, no clues)

Lol guys how do you not react to my last post.

I read it, I just didn't feel the need to add anything.  I was already voting Mynd, and your conclusion seems reasonable enough that it doesn't warrant a big discussion - if the mod isn't giving one player certain info, he's probably not giving it to anybody.

I don't quite follow. What does mod information mean?

I don't quite follow. What does mod information mean?

Basically it means that when Mynd selected those players, he wasn't "targeting those players".  Therefore, his selections are not influenced by being insane, nor by a busdriver.  Instead the only interaction is between the mod and Mynd, so if Mynd was telling the truth, one of us three has to be mafia.  Which makes it much clearer for me that Mynd is mafia.

But thats not the most important part for everyone else.  The biggest part is that Mynd lied about his answer or whether or not he asked the question, which no town would do, since that answer would have helped town out a lot.  Hell, if he was town, that would have helped out him because it would have assured everyone that his reads were true.  The only way that wouldn't help him is if he's mafia who would get lynched tomorrow.  That's probably why he gave a vague answer in the hope of escaping that fate tomorrow.  Mynd has lied to the town, so he must be burned with fire.

I asked "Was my Nightmare actually directed at Despo, Dap, and Womby?"  and I got "PAFO" and a smiley.  Not sure how that suddenly makes me a LLL.

Sounds like scum pushed the lynches on both of the two townies.  Why would Clov and everyone go along with it then suddenly shift after Despo flipped town?  I don't think they expected Despo to be killed at night and were expecting today's lynch to be on Despo.  Now, they are pushing for my lynch instead of Dap/Rand's.

I don't know what else to say at this point.  Rand is the way to go for today.  Everything else is the scum's attempt at deflecting.
