Des I have villagery on tone but he's a pretty decent Mafia and can fake tone. I would guess villager gun-to-head but I'll need to see more

 

Nyn I can't really judge until the game has more meat, she's doing nothing "villagery" for her up to this point but I've seen her have slow starts as a villager before (HH) and she's someone who i think likes to ramp up when her confidence increases

Here's the progression point by point:

You say "Dap/Darthe townie, Cory scummy"

I say the following things

 

1. null on dap and darthe, cory scummy = bad read (cause i'm a villager)

 

2. i stated some things that bothered me about you

 

3. i stated some things that bothered me about tsuki

 

4. i said i didn't understand the votes on RTE if they are past RVS votes (i still don't)

 

5. i responded to you saying "i don't care about your meta" by saying that i am going to play the way i usually play

 

6. i continue to question you irt to your read

 

7. in reponse to you saying i'm flipping out, i ask you what you mean by "flipping out"

 

not sure where there is a "big deal" being made besides, hey, let's discuss game-relevant information

Cory is overselling his townie status in this game already.

 

I also find it interesting those players who start off with "Hey everyone, village person here!"  Sounds overly desperate.

i'm choosing to interpret this as you don't like that i questioned your play this game and decided to showcase it as "cory is overreacting to being called scummy" instead of "cory is trying to discern my alignment and question me"

 

tell me if i'm wrong on that because i'm pretty sure it's what folks around here call a "misrep"

No real opinion of Vos, I think he said something that made me think he was a villager earlier but nothing I remember offhand and if it doesn't stick with me it usually isn't that big an indicator of anything

Well, firstly, it's not about "giving me the benefit of the doubt" - i don't expect anyone to call me a villager outright because I said I was one, I prove myself through effort, transparency and consistency - you called me scummy. So that's a pretty inaccurate start.

 

Moreso, what you are saying is "me making a big deal of someone calling me scummy" is me handling you as a suspect - because you are one, this is a Mafia game, you shouldn't expect me to think of you as a villager outright* - and trying to discern your alignment. What I said was perfectly valid and my gut reaction to our initial postings, so quantifying them as an overreaction as a result to your read irt to me is not valid.

Also, people seem to be taking RTE's OP out of context and I think that's why the votes on him started.  It's null imo.  His reaction to the pressure has been kinda crappy imo, but that

's also kinda null for me atm as RTE is pretty scummy and flippant every time I see him play.  Kind of like a more spastic Lenlo.

My memory on RTE is that he's generally a very wolfy villager. I think I've seen him villa once (the Mass Effect hydra game) and I thought he was the wolfiest player in the game (but interestingly enough he was hydra'd with Lenlo and I thought Lenlo was a villager so I never really went @ RTE hard)

 

I don't really have a read on RTE, didn't get the early votes and people prodding his OP which seemed pretty null (so yeah, same boat with you)

Right now, Cory seems the scummiest to me. It looks like he's trying way too hard to look town. I do not like the looks of him at all. I think RTE being scum is likely too, and possibly along with Cory, since Cory seems to be sorta-defending him, then saying he doesn't have a read on him.

 

Also, this is the first game where Darthe actually seems town to me. But most of the games where he seems scum he ends up being town. He's still probably town. If he was scum, he'd probably start targeting me.

I wanna see some serious real-feels get thrown between WWW and Cory - Ithi isn't around to make Mynd go all "derp", so I gotta take my laughs where I get them.
