Red, I would guess you're town just because you don't make sense. I get what you're saying on the timing of my vote but I haven't been following the non-Cory events in the game and my vote is independent of other wagons. Aside from that it sounds like you agree with me, so carry on. What do you think of the Hallia posts, like the one Darthe commented on?

i think halia is doing damage control to make sure that cory's actions dont reflect on her outside of this game.

 

other than that, they seem like damage control, which for my is always a ping when it comes to Hydras.

I can believe the bolded above.  Still, Cory has been berzerker-cory in this game.  Could be just refreshing to swing from the feces after a very intense buffy game.

Why are there 7 people not voting? on D1? Is this how the new D1's roll on DM?  Everyone should have a vote on someone by now.  If you don't believe Berzerker-Cory is teh scum, then vote somebody....anybody.   Not voting at this point makes you look scumbad!

 

 

 

Funny thing I noticed while going back over the whole Cory vs Tommy thing.....Cory wasn't the only one who was over-compensating.  I think Tommy was projecting his own guilty suspicions on Cory.  I think he knows Cory is one of the few players in this game that could read him as scum.  By Tommy's own admission, they are quite familiar with each other's playstyles and with Cory out of the game, Tommy has a much better chance of hiding his scumself from the rest of us.

Does he seem awkwardly energetic, like he's uncomfortable with his role and can't find his footing? Is he faking enthusiasm in order to convince people (and himself) that he's full of dat WIM? Does he remind you of a kid or younger brother that's being kinda annoying and trying way too hard to be accepted? Yes? Then Cory is not a villager!

FYI, tone of the big reasons I started in on Cory was something Red already mentioned.  The Spurs lovefest felt excessive and forced to me.  Looked like a possible attempt to keep the game from starting with spam and didn't feel like town/town.  I figured that since Despo is the Spurs fan and Cory is more into #Alliance type stuff that Cory was the more likely scum buddier there, so I went after him.  Since then though, Despo has been dropping scumtells that he knows I use, which leads me to believe he is WIFOMing his alignment, which is not something he has felt the need to do as town lately imo.

Also, Despo's WiM remarkably increased imo once the Cory push started.  I think he saw it as a way to clear himself by defending Cory and got overly excited.  He doesn't really stay that consistent on anything besides Cory.  First he was on RTE, then he was on Dawn after he'd already admitted that she's often an easy lynch and using that to cast suspicion on people.

Scum Tommy doesn't really care about pressure.  It's part of why he's so good at it.

He pushed Cory pretty hard.  Granted, I don't agree with Cory's bailing out, pretty unfair to everyone especially Hally, but now we have to make lemonade with what is left.  Cory/Hally flipped town.  Tommy was 100% convinced he was scum.  Tried to pass the blame on me for it.  Now, he has slipped into "hey look at me, I'm townie" mode.  Not looking so good.
