I think we had a good game. We got a ton of help from town which makes you guys gentlemen! But this wasn't a sure  scum win, especially towards the end. This could have been as much of a town win or a SK win. But we had perks, like Red having an extra kill shot twice and TG's shot and Red's on the last night going so well together. If scum sucked balls..... then we wouldn't have won. We didn't do any gambits, but then again with Mynd around, we really didn't need to. So I think we played well and I don't really give a f*ck if anyone thinks differently. =)  GG Red, Dawn and Mynd.

The best part is waiting until whoevers rapped up starts to get impatient just to mess with them. They, sadly, didnt find it nearly as amusing as I did.

@Red: GFY. You had absolutely zero to do with winning the game for your team. I didn't suspect Wombat or Tommy because of anything you did, Tommy was legit scummy, and Wombat I kept waffling on even after Mynd's absolutely wtfawful "dream" that basically implicated him. But Wombat brought some of that on too imo, he did seem to be sniping during the town on town violence D1 and his reads did not align with other townies whatsoever.

 

In general, any scummers trying to take credit for the win are well, I dunno still good people I guess, just incredibly mistaken. This game had some of the most self I destructive town play I've ever seen. Tommy and Cory having their spat early on was a horrendous start, but we could have recovered.... had it not been for Mynd's gambit. Oh well.

 

 

 

@everyone else: wish my last mafia game had gone better than this one, but eh dem's da breaks. I have decided to go ahead and quit while I'm behind however, which I'm sure many will be grateful to hear. Sorry for all the heartache and headaches I've caused, and I hope y'all have better games and better environments without me. Toodles.

 

oy, where did i take credit for any of the win my team pulled out.  i believe i gave credit to yourself, Darthe, Mynd, Nyn, Len and Dawn.

 

town may have played a scummy game, but my team had the good sense and play enough to capitalize off of it.

 

and no Despo, you mentioned too many times "Womby is team mates with Red, look at that distance" and "Tommy is team mates with Red, look at that diffence and distance" that my being scummy was a corner stone in your case against them.  i was simply pointing out that it was by design, my design, that you came to that conclusion man.

 

you kept saying "be more obvious team mates" to me, Womby and Tommy; and you came to that conclusion on thread because i set it up like that.  its not a "brillant move to out scum" if the scum is trying to lead you to make that conclusion.

@Mynd: the bad play wasn't the gambit itself, it was risky but meh you just so happened to pick three townies, as well as help derail Red's lynch D2 (I put out a rock solid case on her that the dream soon led town off the trail of), but eh that happens sometimes with gambits. The absolutely egregious error there was continuing the gambit as far as you did, if anything you should have revealed the lie even before Wombat was lynched, when it seemed there was reasonable doubt he might be town.

 

Like the saying goes, you gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk awaaaaaay

 

^This.  Absolutely!  It's kinda like the kid caught in the lie.....you keep it going, the worse things got.  I was so sure about Wombat being scum though.  I told Hoofy (in one of the countless emails apologizing for ruining his game) that I had the lie reveal typed and ready to post several times, but then I thought "Well, maybe Despo is scum...hang on..."

 

Do any of you remember the game we played where I claimed at least one of the players whose name begins with "A" was scum?  There were like 7 players who had names beginning with "A" so when we lynched Alanna and she flipped scum, I was validated?  Yeah, I thought I would have the same luck here.

 

Despo is 100% right, I should have come clean before the Wombat lynch.  The fact that some players didn't doubt me and that some were wondering if I was third party was a huge scumtell.  Oh well...I feel pretty foolish.

Sho-nuff.  I also tried to kill Red on Night 2.  Would have been 3 for 3.  And then I put in my NA to kill Tsuki before seeing you had replaced Dawn.  As soon as I saw you had replaced I asked Hoof to change my NA to kill you instead.  Woulda been 4 for 4.

For the record I wasn't saying y'all played a bad game- in fact I think you personally played a very good scum game Nyn, and I even mentioned so in the dead thread. And while Lenlo only had a few posts before getting silenced then dying, he still fooled me. I also don't really think I'm awesome for suspecting Red and Dawn either tbh, they were pretty obviously scummy. The bluster in the dead thread was just me trolling and laughing at all the antitown play.

 

However, I do disagree with your statement that if scum had sucked y'all wouldn't have won- imo it wouldn't have made much difference. Y'all didn't have to confuse and manipulate town so much as just stay out of the way while town cannibalized itself.
