The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend.  Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.  In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Mountains of Mist.  The wind was not the beginning.  There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time.  But it was a beginning.

Rules

 

1. This is a normal mafia game. It should go without saying, but normal mafia rules apply unless I explicitly state otherwise. Do not cheat and do not make personal attacks.
2. Each Day, you may vote for a lynch.
3. Votes should use the vote tag so that I may find them easily:

4. You can unvote like thus:

5. Majority is required for a lynch. Once this is achieved, the lynch will proceed immediately (i.e. hammer game).
6. Should a majority vote “No Lynch” or should no majority be reached by deadline, there will be no lynch and the game will proceed directly to Night phase.
7. Deadlines will be mutable and based on activity. If I sense that the players are making an effort and could achieve a decision soon, I might extend deadline. Should I sense the opposite, I will not.
8. I expect substantive posts and non-trivial votes from each player each Day. If in my subjective opinion, you are not doing enough, I will modkill or replace you. I may or may not warn you depending on how grumpy I am.
9. This is a Basic setup, so the roles used will be easy to understand.
10. The Town wins when all anti-town players are eliminated.
11. The Mafia wins when all players who cannot win with the mafia are dead or nothing can prevent this from happening.

13. Play within the rules and play to your win condition.
14. If you break the rules or do anything to piss me off, I will cut off your hands, I will sew your mouth shut, and I will feed you to the Trollocs.
15. Character claims are allowed.  They will not make too much of a difference, however, as mafia have been given fake claims chosen at random from the pool of possible town characters.  The only characters guaranteed to be in the game are the scum ones.
