I'm suspicious of the people not voting me.  I'm an easy lynch, as I've made myself.  (No, I would not have really shot Tina, given the opportunity.)  I'd say the people pushing hardest on me today are quite safely town, (IE AJ.)  I'm most suspicious of RTE, as he is never afraid to vote me.  I'm normally the one person he latches onto.  Instead, he picks Dice over me, whose claim I do believe.  And also regarding Pral, this from D1 was pretty suspicious.

It sounds, though a joke, like he is addressing townies as if he isn't one.  That on top of the stalled lynch today make me confident he's scum

Okay, Hallia's D2 Narrative begins here

 

The arbitrary nature of this post is what bothers me. There's a smart Mafia strategy here to say "I think the people that are voting me are town and the people who aren't voting me but will later to consolidate are Mafia"

 

Obviously there is an appeal to the people scumreading you and voting you that they are wrong, but you don't think they are scummy for being wrong to potentially motivate them into voting elsewhere. The reason this bothers me is that my biggest "impact" on the game for you so far was a notably lazy post where you townread me and Nyn off of "different tone" (well in my case) and for the most part have sort of just ebbed with the thread.

 

I remember you sort of humming with consensus irt to me as your "handling of me as a suspect", saying things like "Cory's tone isn't as townish as it was" and "Cory's tone is sounding townish again" as I have gone up-and-down in this thread in terms of clout and rationality.

 

The second part of this is you are using a scum tactic to motivate players not voting you into staying off of you. Since townies can't be sure of your alignment, you are fostering an environment "if you vote me, you are scum" and townies have high potential to hesitate in a high-risk situation as nobody wants to have negative attention/risk of pressure.

 

Essentially you are giving a free stance with 0 actual Mafia rationale were you have one purpose and that is to try and stall your lynch as opposed to giving out your actual scumreads (and you had me in your sights all of last game, I do know you actually do scumread and townread people off non-arbitrary things)

 

As for your handling of me, here is what really bugs me:

 

I tend to disagree Verb. I intentionally have been playing as scummy as I knew how, because I know how most people as scum tend to interact with me. They tend to let town make the initial cases and push me, wait til a couple of townies join in, and then consolidate, then when I flip they're like "oh, that's just how Hally normally plays"

So I'm not super suspicious of the people on me ATM, but I'm very suspicious of the people ignoring me/saying its null. And now also you.

o.O  I er, don't really feel emotional at all AJ.  If I were lynched, when I flipped everything I've been saying would be shown as truth, so y'know, if you want, go for it.   

 

 

If I had to go off of my theory and my gut, I'd say scum team of Cory, Pral, Verb, with the slight chance of AJ.  Pretty sure about AJ being town though.

 

Not feeling the best about Des either, with his actions and also the possibility listed above about him being scum tracker or a role cop.  

 

The "I was playing scummy on purpose line" is meh, but "playing scummy" is different altogether - you were still vocal enough in Real Genius, gave out your leans when you felt prompted, whereas you have only said things in reactions to your own pressure.

 

The second part is where I hit your main scumlist. I understand this is part of your narrative in regards to your first quote where people who aren't voting you but will consolidate are Mafia.

 

So, I'm still sort of going through the thread and have said several times to keep this phase going as long as possible so I can go through everything (even if I have been unfortunately stifled by some ~18 hour workdays BLEHBLECH) but for all intents and purposes you have been my no. #1 lynch of the day. Do you believe that is particularly scummy of me in this instance to not vote you in an attempt to keep you from being prematurely lynched before deadline in comparison to the people already voting you as per post. 1?

Like I said, IF you flip town (which I sincerely doubt) then I will look back on how your wagon built and the activity around it. UNTIL THEN - I see no point in diving down some rabbit hole to make me doubt my current read on you until it is either confirmed or disproved.

 

IF you are Town, then I suggest you actually do some work and help solve this game instead of giving lame excuses as to your play thus far and then counter-FOS'ing people who are calling you out on it.

I didn't like Leelou's thing with Mish. It struck me wrong and like she knew something. The questions Des gave her were ones that were fairly easy to answer in a town manner. I think she is mafia. I may be wrong. But it is the one thing that has really stuck with me, so i am following it.

 

The bolded statement alone fits with how I view Dice's town meta. I've seen him numerous times as town make statements like this - when he locks onto someone being scum he is typically very firm with it, regardless of it is popular opinion.

 

Look at the RW for a recent example where DiceGOAT was born.
