I have a great deal more self-control as Mafia

The way I've learned to play as town is to just say what I'm feeling and kill my filter completely, which backfires when I get irate (and I do) - but I'm not going to censor myself

The second game Clov is talking about - Blood Bowl - My reads were extremely good despite being mostly spit on for blowing up at Tommy (who was also town and I realized he was town during our blowup) and I snipe voted the Mafia killer for a 5-4 lynch at EOD over the town cop and basically ruled from then on

Even the mod was impressed with the info i got from doing what i did

Don't start with your attitude on me. You have made the the thread environment unenjoyable with your tantrum. I know I can be bitter from time to time but I still try to have fun and if I get completely annoyed at the way someone is acting I'll walk away for a bit.

Any words you say in this thread will be read and analyzed, you were called out for things that seemed off by another player. You are the one that instigated the thunderdome. I'm actually getting a bit tired of your ego.

And I don't know how to explain the #alliance thing to you, it's not something that's upheld it's more of that me and Des are mafia siblings so we hold eachother to a different sort of standard

Oh, my townread on Lazy has gone down. Since being called townie by a few players, he has mainly just fluffed along and hasn't made any sincere attempts to scumhunt at all. Add to that BFG's townreading him because of his OP, and yeah he dun look as good anymore.

Oooh and that reminds me- RTE's OP (BFG parroted others on that as well). It didn't look good to me, and his recap was pretty meh as well, but I wanted to wait and see what else he posted before coming to a decision. RTE has a knack for looking extremely scummy as town, and he's often targeted for mislynches by scum when he is town.

Yikes. This is getting close to semantics. When people are saying they "like this post by XYZ", or they "like XYZ's play this game", it is almost always attributed to a pro-town feeing. If we simply thought it was funny or clever, a "lol" or smiley would have been used. Or in Cory's case, about 12 gifs. ;-)

But you're kinda backtracking here with a borderline semantic defense. Not sure what to think of that.

As I said before, and Des has also mentioned since then, the key to scumhunting you is the mid-game WoT catchup reads post. I'll abstain from having an opinion on you until then.

Def don't like this response BFG. Seen far too many times where scum said almost exactly the same type of thing:

"Oh I wasn't fos'ing him, I was just pointing out something that seemed odd!"

Like Verb said, it smells of semantics. Townies shouldn't be afraid to be held to a stance- scum are more likely to not want to be pinned down on something.

That being said, you were right about Leelou responding to Verbal before I thought she did. Missed that. And eh, I guess I can see your point regarding my initial suspicion of Clov. But, like I've said before, being hypocritical doesn't necessarily make you scum. I will often fos others for doing stuff I do all the time. Sort of a "Do as I say, not as I do" situation.

Except I wasn't saying this seems odd, it was a statement about 2 posts. I don't mind holding a stance, but I don't want to hold to a stance I didn't state.

No, of course not. I don't think you honestly thought he'd get lynched when you proposed it. But I think you knew damn good and well the likeliness of you getting lynched was just as low as his. But if I had to guess, I'd say the outcome is probably you two going back and forth and getting nowhere, somebody pointing out deadline is in X hours, and lolz #YOLO random CFD onto unsuspecting EZ lynch.

Though if you want to hold me responsible for a future CFD that never happened caused by me threatening to tdome Des right before I went to sleep (giving him ample time to form an offense if he wanted to) and for the most part realizing I'd overreacted when I woke up and have basically amounted zero offense besides "he got in my head and I needed to step away"

The you can hold me responsible for that

I'd like to think the CFD was on Hallia
