Leelou, if you could shoot somebody based off their first post (and first post ONLY), who would you pick and why?

 

Thane - seemed too chipper or Des - jumped right in and declared someone won the thread already. It's a bit hard to say for sure though, because a few people either seem to be having too much fun with the theme or have a post restriction.

 

 

I like this exchange. Agree on Des, not sure on Thane.

The game that me, Des, AJ and Clov played on VS one of the players there tunneled the hell out of me Day 1 and did nothing else

 

After I got NKed N1 (ldo) he sent me a message saying he knew I was town and tried to make me look bad so I wouldn't get NKed

Thanks can remember the salient points.

 

Des misreps Leelou at least twice here.

 

States that she doesn't respond to Verb immediately, she does in her second post.

 

Brings up Tina's response to Leelou's vote, but it's Tina's second response he quotes, he ignores Tina's vote on Leelou.

 

Says Leelou has brought up possible PR a 'lot', she's done so twice.

 

I think his second half of the case has more to it, but really don't like the misreps at the beginning.

 

Early days for Des, but I don't like the start.

I started listening to JBT in... like 2009? I was in my Dispatch phase and one of my friends played Grand National for me and I loved it

I'm here, i'm here. Just woke up (well, i got up, need coffee to wake up).

 

Seen a few interesting reads over the past 22 pages (don't you people work or sleep?)

 

@cory: you seem eager to find out if i'm town. i hereby confirm that i am town. And indeed i am quitre relaxed because i managed to win my previous game with town, and i'm definately planning on doing so again in this game.

 

So, 16 players, that would make 4 scum, if my math is correct. Not everything can be 42, right?

What reads?

re Des case on leelou.  I can understand her "shouldnt see me as town" stance somewhat. It is D1 and unless you are mafia the most you should have from the little interaction so far is maybe a strong lean. She also seems to see it as a mafia tell. Thing is she shouldnt be wanting to be blue on corys list if this is the case. hypocritical 

 

The i want to play around thing is fair enuff but look at how often it blows up in lens face. 

 

The thing that I dont like is her saying to watch mish for a PR. that seems too knowing for me.

This is an early vote from Dice. Not sure what the answering/counter answering thing is about though.

 

 

 

Pral's joke came across very forced to me. Dunno, could be a language thing or maybe I just don't get his sense of humor. Either way, it stood out and didn't really fit the flow of the thread imo.

 

That is because you do not have the reference. If you followed Real Genius mafia, you would have understood it.

Fwiw this was the post which earlier made me feel Clov might be scum- he references a joke that was already old by this point. To me it looked like scum trying to fit in with the jokey atmosphere but not reacting in the moment

 

 

 

Since then however he has looked much townier to me, he has followed up on stuff worth following up on, is asking questions and engaging others, but not being opportunistic about it. He's one of my stronger town reads now in fact.

Lynching all the girls is a dumb idea.  Now lynching other dudes?  THAT I can get behind.
