Would you prefer "ambivalent?"  Because Len's stance on claims has not remained constant and makes no sense to me.  He started off saying that there are going to be a lot of supporting characters, then agreed that supporting characters would be more likely scum claims and that actual character claims are null, then tried to push Mish for hinting at a main character, then acted like Amegakure claiming a supporting character was significant.  So which is it?  Are character claims significant or aren't they?

The explanation was all I needed.  I'm afraid that as of late I play with my head in the sand to some extent.

I doubt they are, and are just a big distraction. Len is helping fuel the distraction.

I'm not investing a ton of value in this, but these are some of the reactions I was hoping to generate with the claiming thing. Here Mish hints that she is an important character because the movie is titled after her - but I can think of 3 different movies off the top of my head in which the main character's name is also the title. This enables her to hint at being a major character without necessarily hard claiming one - in other words it gives her leeway for later on. I also dislike the tone in the counter-accusatory way she addresses Lenlo.

Yes it has.

 

1) Yes I believe and have always believed this will be a game of supporting characters.

2) I never said scum would be more likely scum claims, atleast not intentionally. I did say that character claims are null though.

3) I didnt push Mish for hinting a main Character, I pushed her because she hinted something important and then said nothing. Hints do not help town in my experience as scum are generally much better at figuring them out because they work together. AJ made much better points on it so read his work.

 

4) I didnt act like it was significant, I was poking fun at you because I enjoy that.

I never said if you were a "bad guy" that I wanted to know, I said I wanted to know because your hinting is stupid. Seriously hints are rarely good. Never did I infer that your character was bad, so dont make things up. 

 

Also im not desperate to get you to claim. If you hadnt hinted at it then that would have been that, done with, but your hinting brought my attention to it. Why hint? Why not just say "No I dont want to reveal."? And your claim of being a movie titled character? How can I believe this? For all I know you could be BSing this entire thing and never have to reveal your character because of it.

 

So put your money where your mouth is and back it up.

@lenlo i dont know how to explain it when i read that post from vos is just shouted im town and im ready to scum hunt. I didnt see anything that could be ulterior motives and his tone seems genuine. This doesn't exempt him from suspicion for the rest of the day but i dont think he is eligible for a day one lynch.

besides content why is lenlo scummy? is he pushing in a bad direction? And please dont bring up his views on claims. They where a means to and end to start game talk people voiced their opinions but i dont think either side makes it alignment indicative. 

 

I think mish teasing about her claim is weird. She is almost baiting lenlo when he brings it up the second time. Also instead of asking me why i think those people need pressure, why dont you add your two cents about their game play and whether you think im on point? or do you just want to know why i brought you up? 

 

Havent seen hallia much. She has seemed much more vocal in latter games. 

 

The only thing i see on darthe is how fast he wanted to push a Town Aj thus setting the floor for him to jump in and claim himself with out looking like he had an agenda. Looked like garnering town cred. Whats your case WOMBY

 

as for womby, im not really sure about him he seems to be looking in lots of directions but i'm not really feeling to many of them.
