Just reached home. Landed long time back but damn the pile up on the roads. Have been checking the game through my phone till now. Is night done or still on?

By the old gods and the new you would think the God of T!ts and Wine would be immune to the blight that is a hangover, eh?

Well, the sun rises for us both it seems.  Save two of you.  It would appear that this night has been bloody busy.  Hah!

Verbalina - Walder Frey, Mafia Rolestopper killed Night 3

Right I said two kills!

CrayJay - Robb Stark, The King in the North, Anointed by the old gods and leader of men and wolves, Town Cop has been killed.

It is now day and a bloody fine one it is. You have 48 hours.

That was fast. Why did nobody protect Cory? >_>

Gotta figure out what this means for Cloud given Verb's claim. I'm guessing it's good but that situation was unusual.

Maybe Desbat was the doc and it was convenient for mafia to cover his coroner report so we'd keep assuming we had a doc amidst us. Or of course to have the doc fake claim for later use without being counterd. OR, assuming both Mynd and Red have protective roles, there might not be a doc role in this game.

Those are my thoughts in the matter.

Right... well, I am newly skeptical of more defensive roles given high profile players have died each night (Des, Yates, Cory). Odds seem low that none of them would be protected.

Well Verb was a rolestopper, so they could have been protected, Verbs role just stops the protect.

How is that different from a roleblocker though? Or is it the same?

I googled it; it's a reverse roleblock. It's basically scum protection. Stops other abilities from being used on the target.

Red must have lied. Red is back as scum.

I believe that Verb literally spewed Cloud as town.

Also damn that was unlucky for Cory. I'm guessing the seraph knight was on Cory

Does the "vengeful spirit" role make sense thematically?

"A Rolestopper is a role that can target a player to stop all other Night actions from affecting them in any way" = Verbal's role.

Cloud specifically asked to be vig shot. And presented a claim that would explain why he'd never get killed by mafia during the night. I can't help but wonder if both him and Verbal were setting it up so the vig would try to shoot Cloud and Verbal would counter it with his role by targeting cloud.

Look at what he says:

I know that a lot of you think that we are scum and so my suggestion is that the Vig shoots us tonight and then we kill Verbalina. It looks like we will be lynched tomorrow anyway and this way we get to at least take a mafioso down with us.

Verbal was gonna get lynched anyhow. This way they'd be cutting their loses and wasting the vig's shot.

This is what it was about vetting Red. When the PR came, will she step up? She didn't-ergo scummy behaviour IMO

Before we jump to conclusions.

@DARTHE

Can we get confirmation that Red is on LoA till Thrusday and therefore is not actively checking in and the likes? it's not fair for an approved LoA to affect the game.

Well I'll just say what I've been thinking.

Red lied; period. She isn't a BG. She's probably scum for a myriad of reasons, including that fake claim.

I thought there was another player who hinted at being a protective role but if that player didn't protect Cory last night then I think that was a lie too.

Given the confirmed seraph knight, there may not be any more protective roles.

##Vote Red

Most likely scum in the game AORN.

Im not sure I believe her, but it is entirely possible that Red has been using her ability on the PRs but the rolestopper has stopped her protects.

I get what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure Cloud meant "once we die, the vengeful spirit kills Verb." Not "let's deal with Verb later."

The trouble is, if Cloud is town, he's never getting NK'd with that claim and the scum role stopper dead. So we may have to lynch him eventually... I'll wait to see what he has to say.
