I say go for it. You got someone you think is scum, then shoot him. Its what a town vig should do. You coming out and saying it though with no prodding or risk of being lynched worries me. Its an out of the blue role claim.

2. It's not a gambit, and your own play has put you in this position. You spent the majority of the game trying to set up a lynch pool of me, Cory, and Tina. Cory's death must have surprised you, and he flipped town. I know myself to be town, and I don't think Tina is scum. Therefore you must either admit that you are town but you have been hurting town by following WRONG and dead end leads, or you start making a MUCH better case for why Tina could be scum than you have been.

Fwiw, Dawn is looking a wee bit more town to me. I like the way she held up to Darthe's insults, she seems humble and genuinely having difficulty putting out her reasoning for a read, or rather strong reasoning, and yet still seems to at least have some convinction in how she is posting.

 

The fact that her reads aren't that great (thinks me and Darthe are scum/scum when that's highly unlikely with how we've gone @ one another) to me looks like someone who might genuinely be struggling in trying to play town after rolling scum in her first two games.

 

As for Clov, he didn't respond to my last point about his slip, which irritates me slightly. Also irritating that every little while, I'll see him post in a manner that makes me doubt my scumread on him. I keep attributing this to him being experienced scum that can pull off town tone well, but eh I could be wrong there. Darthe and Lenlo both look a lot worse lately as well, which def makes me reconsider some of my other reads somewhat. Will go through his recent posts in a sec anyways.

I edited out the stuff I didn't need to respond directly too, but some of it did give me a slightly better feeling about you. Specifically when you point out how unlikely it is that Darthe and I are distancing/bussing, ask Darthe for the relevance of bringing up Dawn's brother, scold Tommy for not reading, and a couple of other things.

Hate this post.  I get that you're convinced Tina is lock clear town, whatever, but unless you have evidence that proves that I really don't like that you're telling another player he's not allowed to vote for somebody that he's been reading as scum for a phase and a half now.  REALLY scummy that you're going to lock him in as scum for it.

And multiple people, including two now dead townies, scumread Jack.  Just because they're dead doesn't mean they're right about everything, and the fact you're trying to use that to substantiate your defense of somebody whose alignment would seemingly be a mystery to you makes it seem like you're trying to divert attention away from Tina through any means necessary.  Unless you're a second pair of town masons, underline suggests you know her alignment.  Unlike the conditional "slips" that have been presented based on "knowing" somebody's alignment, you're leaving no room for doubt.  By your own line of reasoning, you just admitted to being scum.

 

 
Again, I never said Tina was guaranteed to be town. I HIGHLY doubt she'd flip scum, but obviously there are still a number of unknowns in the game.
 
The fact is, Tina DID try kickstarting the game, it worked, she followed up well on the #gamestarter, and in the meantime others developed townreads on her, and the few that WERE pushing her as scum didn't look good themselves.
 
Multiple people thinking her town doesn't make that the case, but it DOES mean you should probably look elsewhere, until late game tinfoiling is necessary.
 

 

Tina isn't guaranteed to be town because a bunch of people see her as town Lenlo. She is just a horrible lynch candidate because of it. More importantly, the scummiest person in the game atm, Darthe, has been promoting a me/Tina/Cory scum group for a while now. Scum didn't expect Cory to die, so Darthe thought he could get more mislynches out of it. Lynching Tina today plays into his hands.
 
And speaking of which, continue not mentioning or responding to mentions of Darthe. It amuses me.

No, and that's just terrible reasoning. This is a hammer game. Who knows who else might have voted Jack if it was a diff format or something? And someone can not be voting someone yet still not think they're town, they might just have a higher scum candidate. Again, the reasoning you use here is straight up awful.
 
From what I remember, Jack only had 1-2 people saying he was town. Darthe was one, and iirc you might have said he seemed town as well. There was definitely NOT a general consensus among others that Jack was town, not like the thing with Tina.

If you're as confident that he's scum as your continuous argument suggests, I don't understand why you're not working the angle of him using your votes against you here as to signify him being mafia.  You wouldn't say that he wouldn't know who's town.  You'd say he knows EXACTLY who town is, unlike you, and that's how he can be so assured your votes have been towards other townies.

Nope, try again Clov. I think Darthe has been working against town this game not just because of some of the people he's gone after (including me, a townie, and Cory, a confirmed townie, and BFG, a confirmed townie), but because I think he has been pushing antitown agendas for a while now. Earlier in the game I thought he was just wrong and blathering on about nonsense like he'll occasionally does, now I think he was obfuscating on purpose.

 

Think about it. He started the whole thing about there being scum in me/Cory/Tina because of some sketchy as HELL train analysis... on Day 1. I have heard him himself say that he doesn't depend too much on associative tells early on in a game, yet in this game he is 100% relying on associative tells for his "scumhunting". He is saying that because Tina Cory and I moved our votes around a lot together, we must be scum. This kind of mickey mouse level scumhunting is too low even for Darthe. He's not pointing out why I could be scum, he's just railing on about us voting together over and over.
