[BASIC] Physics Mafia: GAME OVER, Town and Lenlo wins!

It's just coming to a point where I'm getting frustrated.

I'm not even sure who all the replacements are because we've had so many and they're either talking very little or not at all.

We got a big jump start on the mafia by lynching Cloud but I feel like we're quickly going to lose that to have 3-5 people who we can have no read on because they're not talking.

We either let them go to end game (big mistake) or we lynch them one by one which could ultimately be futile and a huge waste of time and numbers.

It's just not a good situation and it's starting to bother me.

i think chae is rather new. if she is mafia i dont think she would be much of a threat come closer to end game. Lily on the other hand kinda has a tmi feel to her about des clearing her. Something to look into.

1. Jack_D - Slightly FoS'd Kronos for asking about the slot 11 thing, then doing the same to Amega for his comment on it. Calling out Clouds vote on him as opportunistic.   Finally after a while moved his vote over to me on actions from several pages ago with nothing new to go on, still claiming I haven't given a reason for my vote. Jumps at me not because of the reason but for the seemingly random delay. Claims he is not anti-town(?). I still think he is guilty of some hefty misreps and annoying play, but haven't focused too much here, since I think he is very much town.

2. LilyElizabeth - Votes me with the whole Weak-Inception-thing. Strikes me as ridiculous still. Was called out by Cloud for doing so. Comes with a very wishy list, where the only concrete point was that Cloud could be buddying Kronos? One of the first to vote amega.

4. Amegakure - went straight for Jack (in defense of Kronos), parroting reasons. "defends" me and Cloud. Plays surprisingly "arrogant". Wary of his buddying me like Cloud did? Team-mates hoping for an early lynch on me, clearing both of them and then going after Jack? Might be conspiratory, but worth noting. Carries on his bulldozer-arrogance-game, going after Lily, Nolder and Wombat. And dap. Reads more like super-paranoid townie than scum towards the end, so that's where I'm leaning now.

6. Despothera - Goes after Jack for his "making mountains out of molehills", also "sides" against Jack, defending both me and Cloud. Goes after Jack, Nolder, Chael, and prods Lily for prodding the newcomers. Then suddenly goes after amega. Also not a big fan of his post-hammer vote on Cloud? It's a minute apart so he might have been ninja'd, but it did seem like was "I wanna be on the lynch-VC on Clouds train, because I know he will flip scum". I do think his train D2 have built extremely fast. Either fishy, or town is just playing "Follow the leader" at this point. 

 

7. Xthrax - Been replaced. Null.

9. Lenlo - playing it safe, buddying up to Wombat(?) then quickly comes and discredits that thought, claiming it "was a joke". Holds off his vote, but humors Nolders nudge by voting him, then saying he will vote Jack. Not much written up on him, but the last pages have made me feel better for some reason. His foul mood in-thread seems very genuine and I think if he was scum he'd hide it or put it in a QT, not in the game thread. Null read, leaning town. 

10. _CLOUD - jokevotes Nolder, then quickly follows up switching to Jack as the second person (dang, should have been third, no?). Soft-defending amega. 

11. Chaelca - When the action starts. comes with a "*munches popcorn and watches the show*". Last time I saw that it was from scum, making a point out of lying low and  flagging it in plain sight. Also, the comment "well according to the Japanese Lore, I would be more suspicious about number 4... just saying" stands out. Probably nothing at all, but Cloud, Chaelca and Amega for scum team? Makes some pretty unsubstantial posts and reads. Trying not to stick her head out? Early on the Cloudtrain though (4th). Very unsure here.

 

12. dapianoplay3r - Comes with a cryptic "looking forward to watching this unfold" when Amega went after Jack. Votes me to even out the trains instead of WBK which apparently is his top scum pick. Then goes after Amega with some seriously leading claims (like "The town thing would be to let it happen and see how Kronos takes a minimal amount of heat.") while still fos'ing me with some really silly reasoning (like calling "weak" a buzzword - which was the origin of me calling buzzword the next buzzword, and weak the new weak... ugh). Goes on repeating what others have said (my weak being weak, while wombats weak wasn't weak because it playing off my weak... for example). Drags up the whole "third vote"-thing. Then claims he reeeaally didn't find me scummy anymore, so he'll probably move his vote over to Amega/WBK which he is hell bent on being scumteam. 

13. WolfbrotherKronos - dawnflower8 - Acting pretty short, but subbed out so won't give a read here now. 

 

14. Nolder - meta-votes WBK. Goes off the radar for a while, then emerges again with a snarky attack on Amega. Goes into lecturing mode, starting an off-topic discussion with me on WOTs. Nudges the two replacements. Does some minor misrepping and starts up a "gameplay-discussion" again. Not been a big fan of his play at all, distracting, trying to position himself as town leader, behaving very polite when called out on his lecturing. Also suspicious of how aggresive he is to the new players. They have just subbed in and is probably re-reading, yet he throws a tantrum, saying they should be mod-killed and claiming they are more or less ruining the entire game. I'm however wary that he was the third to vote for Cloud, when it was still room to chose another train and perhaps driving it home. A bit pointless to buss a teammate D1 unless you are playing a very tricksy scumplay of establishing as much town cred as possible early game. 

 

Inclined to say Des is the safest bet now... I'm really reading Nolder as scum, but I can't convince myself he would bus Cloud day 1 like that. Dap is another possibility. I'm eager to see more people catch up and chime in before we hammer Des though?

I obviously disagree with how you've framed most of my actions this game but I want to clarify a point.

I wasn't saying anyone should be modkilled based on anything they have or haven't done. Again, it's nothing personal.

There is some responsibility with the town to self moderate activity a bit. We can vote to lynch people who aren't posting.

But there is a point where it becomes a real burden that severely effects balance. If we have to lynch 3 or 4 people because they aren't really participating we lose the only guaranteed power we have as townies, which is to lynch scum. it's our only way to win. At best we do this and get lucky and lynch mafia but that's all it will be. Luck. No one wants a game won by luck. There is a point where the responsibility shifts to the mod to prevent that from happening and I think we're near that point. Paint me as the mean guy who picks on newbies if you want to but I'd like nothing more than to help them learn how to play. I can't do that if they aren't "here".

This could be likely, since they were the only ones who earlier voted for players other than Cloud. Why would mafia try voting off other mafia? 

 

But of course, mafia could vote other mafia just to try to prove they are not mafia. But, like just about everyone else, I do think there is something going on with Des (for all the reasons stated by other players)

You are perceiving someone's perception for missrepping. I haven't misrepresented(much better word and just slightly few more letters then misrep. And misrep bothers me.) anything intentional. It's what I perceive when I read something so that's what I talk about. If it's different then how you intended maybe take into mind that not everyone is out to gun for you and aren't gunna obviously fling your stuff in a different direction.

 

I've honestly heard about misrepresenting from 3 or four people and one was confirmed scum and another is everyone's favorite for scum ATM.

 

And another aspect to clear up.

 

Your initial vote was without reason. Then after pressure you took someone else's reasoning and ran with it. And you can't say weak is a reason. It's not it's a general statement, you need to elaborate when you vote someone. So you weren't misrepresented when it's your initial actions that were being questioned. #justsaying

1. I never FoS'd wbk. That's reaching on your part. I put slight pressure the first opportunity it provided itself and went after everything that happened around the incident while trying to draw everyone in to gauge their reactions.

 

2. Again it wasn't for your total lack of reasoning in general, it was for the lack of reasoning initially and then the parroting of others reason.

 

3. Not heavy misreps, misinterpretation possibly but posts can be taken in any direction. If I ever saw something I didn't like I posted it and the reasons why, and how it looked to me.

 

Side note: Annoying but effective. Was correct about cloud and wombat for the record.

 

All in all that was an exercise in futility. I'm just bored as you think I'm town, and I think there are scummier people then yourself. Although those quotes I posted earlier were a little off.

 

Desp and Chae are my number 1 and 2 for scum. If Desp is scum, lily is as well. Just my thoughts.
