AJ ensured the Despo lynch by moving onto him and going to sleep. The only way I could see that happening is if we were running up scum-scum which is very unlikely.

I disagree.  If there is no Doc in this game and scum got lucky with a fake claim, then the plan would easily be to set AJ up as the endgame scum player.  Des would EASILY go along with that and get himself lynched (and therefore bussed) on D1.  I would, too.  So scum-AJ slowplaying the lynch to eventually bus a teammate in Des anyway is a solid scum move.  But.......town-AJ would probably make the same slowplay, so it really is null.  Kaylee can easily be town if AJ is scum.

Assume AJ is scum.

 

 

He's claimed Doc without a cc.  This bodes well for a bus play thus far, with the inherent risk of a cc and losing the advantage they've built.  That said, scum-AJ would take that risk, and I think scum-Des would go along with it, having seen the positive effects a ballsy scum team can produce.

 

Besides, Des was trending as the lynch, so it wasn't too much of a leap for that bus play, assuming scum-AJ.  This is a basic game - there is no guarantee we have a Doc if we have a Cop and 1 other town PR.  Chances are good that we have a Doc, and therefore likely it is AJ.....but you never know.

 

And now that we've lynched scum D1, if AJ is lying a cc now could open the game wide open.  Get to see how players bus/distance/react/vote to competing Docs, and probably snag the remaining mafia after we take down whichever is scum between AJ and the counterclaimant.  At that point, the Doc isn't even super relevant, so I'd trade the Doc for a 2nd scum and making the final scum player(s) have to make a decision on how to play it out and potentially show us their @$$ in the process.

I showdown between Leelou and Amega will likely not turn out well for Amega.  If you tunnel on a town-Leelou, you better have a fantastic case; otherwise, you're screwed.  This is why I wait to decide on her.  So the answer to your 2nd question is "I don't know yet".  Only 1 day of gameplay.  I'm good at reading her, but I still need time & more content.

Checking in from school. I agree with Verb on the point of CCing after a D1 scum lynch. It won't happen here, but yeah

 

Wombat looks better. A lot of my suspicions were based under my belief that Des was town. From that perspective what I perceived Wombat's actions as would fit a scummy agenda. Anyway, enough of that. I agree that Leelou looks suspect today. Rhetoric aside her voting of Kaylee over Des or me after Kaylee voted Des doesn't look good.

My scum read on SP has diminished a bit but he still needs to contribute more.

 

I don't think Peace would swap to Des late like that if they were partners. That basically ensured Des would be lynched. Up until that point I was heavily leaning on voting Kaylee simply because I thought both would turn up town and I would rather have a townDes over a townKay (nothing personal )

 

Not digging Verb's vote at the end of the day. Voting the same as confscum without reason and leaving it parked there through DL. Doesn't give me good vibes but we'll see.
