I did a quick skim of the last couple of pages since I have a bit of free time while my boy naps. Mish is continuing to look worse IMO. That 'VTs would never fake-claim' is another one of those false blanket statements that I dislike. Mish you are either very stubbornly set in your view-point of how Mafia is played or very intentionally painting actions in a negative manner. Nothing here is absolute, I've fake-claimed as a VT before. I also don't think your case on Cloud is very good. You basically just quoted all of his posts and twist them with unverifiable statements. 'Playing helpful townie'? I think Cloud made a pretty genuine effort in getting the game out of the 7-8 page fluff-fest.

 

You said your original vote on Theo was for her meta-defense. Okay, I didn't really see it this way. To me it came more across as her saying 'This is how I play, get over it.' It wasn't like she said that she only does one thing or another as a certain alignment. You were the one who twisted it by saying that only Mafia need to worry about where and how their vote is placed.  I don't think her asking Vos for his observations in return to him calling her out on the same thing is suspicious. Also I'm not really following what you are saying about me being scummy by my own logic. Sort of reads as you saying "No u" without actually addressing anything I said. I placed my vote where I felt it fit best. Your statement on which case you feel is stronger is your opinion only and doesn't hold any sway on my personal decision. I think I stated pretty clearly on why I found Leelou's read post to be strange. I don't understand how she picked X and Pral as 2 other players she could vote on when she listed them both as null. Why them specifically over her other null reads? To me if felt fairly random and without any real sort of thought process. 'I could also vote these dudes'. Okay, why? The reads post doesn't really offer anything to help others understand why she felt that way. On the other hand I think your quick attack of Theo for something I didn't consider a big deal looks worse.

 

@Pral - I don't think you answered any of my questions sufficiently. Show me quotes where I am nudging the wagon on X. If you are going to accuse me of an action then the burden of proof is on you. Provide an example where you interpreted me as doing so or I have no other real choice then to think that you are making it up. The timing of your case on me is a little fishy considering how I highlighted two players that you are vehemently naming town with nothing more than 'typical' play and meta reads.

THANK YOU!! Finally, a person with some sense. I agree with everything you just said except your scum read on Leelou. She might have been a little unhelpful by not explaining all her reads in detail at the start of the game, but she more than made up for that error afterwards.

Crazy thing is earlier tonight, I was playing NBA 2K13 and was doing a quick play version of this game, and it went to double overtime, no joke. In that game, I won it with a buzzer beater three by Ginobili. Unfortunately Ginobili is injured right now irl

Despothera watched as the group nervously started questioning one another, trying to find out if anyone knew what the hell was going on. They all started in relatively good spirits for a group of people that had been recently kidnapped and forced to tickle one another. It was probably the way Despot had stocked the room with an inordinate amount of cat posters and motivational messages on the wall, as well as the stress balls that he had provided. There was one point where everyone tried pelting him with the stress balls when he delivered their boxed lunches, but the stern words and strictly enforced timeouts helped take care of those nasty attitudes.
 
Soon enough the gameplay resumed, and wouldn't you know it, Cloud was getting a lot of tickle attention day 1. It just seemed like he loved being the center of attention! Sure enough he did his trademark move of claiming a protective role of some kind before others rushed in and kept tickling him. He collected his breath in giant gasps in between laughs, and winked a few times at people as he even started tickling himself. This made others back off somewhat, unsure of how to act around such unusual behavior (I mean, I think it's impossible to tickle yourself... right?)
 
Suddenly the clock on the wall started sounding, and the group knew the time Despothera had set for them had passed. They looked nervously around at each other for a bit, until one went to the window and looked towards the office Despot sat in. He seemed to be distracted, watching something on TV, and every little bit he would either jump up and start prancing around like a fool, or else start screaming at the TV in pained supplication. The group realized they should make use of the fact that their unstable mod was distracted, and act like they hadn't missed the deadline at all. A couple of people jumped back in and started tickling Cloud again, and once again he was in fits.
 
Andrej used this opportunity to pick up a feather on the wall and launch forward with it, darting in and out at every one of Cloud's weak spots. Cloud was gasping now and begging for everyone to stop, but the ticklefrenzy was on them, there was no stopping now.
 
"You-- BAHAHAHA---- have- SNORTLE SNORTLE --- to --- GASP --- STOP! IMMAEXPLODE! BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"
 
Cloud managed to yell out, but the others showed no signs of stopping. All of a sudden, someone shrieked from the crowd. Everyone suddenly pulled back from the steel chair where Cloud was sitting, and there sat Cloud, not moving, with a very abashed look on his face. His cheeks shone bright red, and the puddle beneath him shone bright yellow. Everyone sat unmoving, astonishment plain on their faces.
 
At that moment Despot opened the door into the room, and saw what had occured. He shook his head sadly, then motioned Cloud over. Cloud shuffled over on embarassed chicken wing steps, and fought bravely in his struggle to hold back his sniffles. Despot took Cloud out and closed and locked the door behind him, coming back in moments later.
 
"I have allowed Cloud to go home, after the torment you put upon him, and after he agreed to the bribe I gave him to not alert authorities too quickly. There should be some disinfectant spray and a towel in the cabinet over there, if someone could- yes, thank you. Okay then, well let's go ahead and get yall ready for naptime!"
 
There were some minor groans here and there, but once the host started passing around juiceboxes, everyone surprisingly went along with it and cozied up into their little cots. Despothera turned the lights off and started to close the door, but before he could someone asked him if Cloud was a good boy or a bad boy.
 
"Oh, yes. That. Hehe."
 
Cloud, vanilla town has been lynched.
