Vos meanwhile is upset we didn't lynch Tina because we should just lynch people who claim VT anyway.

See, here you go putting words in my mouth again. That paraphrase is just ridiculous. As is your assumption of how I'd play as mafia.

We still outnumber scum pretty well, and I'm just a vanilla, no PR, so I don't have a problem with taking one for the team at this point.

Vos, your responses to my case essentially all boiled down to "Gosh, I feel silly for trusting AJ so much!" but it's not just you buddying up to him- it's the fact that AJ set up a strawman case on you, and let you off the hook easy once you answered it. And he flipped scum. And fyi, looking at early interactions with scum and others early in the game is extremely fruitful in just about any game- scum is much more likely to either not have any interaction at all with their partners, or have some early and then move on. It's also fairly easy to see how differently scum might treat their partners from town. Even AJ trying to look town wouldn't have let someone off the hook so easy if his target was townie. He would have likely pursued the pressure to see if others would bite. I don't buy that it was a scum-town interaction, it looks too staged and both parties moved on way too easy.

It's not just AJ either. Basically the whole reason Theo caught any flak at all this game started with her saying you seemed all over the place but not voting you. She later clarified that she had a town read on you, but even tho she said so in kind of a strange way, you never challenged her personally on it. I just don't buy that you'd be this gullible as town, I've seen your town play and it was full of natural paranoia like town should have.

GE is right too, btw. You're def falling prey to whyme fryme lately. And you did seem perturbed that someone peeled off of Tina who was close to being lynched. Both are pretty scummy.

Yep. But I can't say why AJ did what he did, just explain my reaction to it. If he tried to buddy me, distance or whatever he did, I can only guess at.

Again yep. Which is why I

a)Just find it frustrating, because there is nothing to do about it at this point.

b)Tried to clarify that what I pointed out about your post was the selectiveness of it, not that you backtracked

Agree it's strange. Hopefully he can explain once it's all over.

Hehe, I'm generally full of natural paranoia

I got very thrown off my feet this game, both because of AJs initial strange interaction with me and then me and Goldens little fight. I appretiate you don't see me as this gullible in general though, heh.

As I said, I don't have any problems with taking time for second and third opinions, I just reacted to the reasoning, which was that "oh, she claimed VT". The last scum would of course claim something that can't be CC'd when at L-1 and so close to losing the game.

But again, I already offered myself up for todays lynch, hopefully it'll clear up some of the things that fogs up the game now. We still outnumber scum pretty good so I don't feel like I'm sabotaging my team for doing so.

Bold

I'm sorry but, I don't remember you offering anything, just mentioning oh you gonna lynch me or something is not exactly offering yourself now, is it? I took it to mean like you were trying to garner sympathy from others so they don't lynch you.

I just got home and need to catch my breath.

(Will be back soon-ish with more pieces of wisdom or confused ramblings)

Luci, this was what I meant, which I don't think will garner sympathy at all. I did mean it.

Tina gave a lot of reads about people, and has cleared many of them. You yourself say that AJ has mentioned me as scum. So by that logic with which you cleared others based on AJ voting them, do I seem still scummy?

You seem more suspicious out of the 2 I suspect.

Vote Tina

Like Golden said, you should claim.

But see what happened to TG. Still going with a vote on Tina? Its better if we go cautiously and proceed to lynch a confirmed and definite scum. What do you think? Golden, any reads?

I understand your caution Xthrax, I do realise that we have to be cautious, however just because Tina claimed doesn't mean that she's in the clear.

I saw GE's voting and unvoting her as putting pressure on her more likely than anything else.

He said he confirmed another Vanilla.

I am not sure if we are relying on him to do all the work before we even consider sorting it all out like we're supposed to. By these posts that you've said it looks to me like we are.

@ Nervosite, Sorry, my bad I did not see it the way you said it. I just saw the last post and it did look a bit like scum trying to garner sympathy.

Either way its still a martyr play. And martyr plays are either scum ploys or bad townie maneuvers. If he's town he should be working hard to prove it and find real scum. He's not, so he isn't.

Nerv has avoided lynch quite a few times.  I tend not to trust people who have been on the chopping block and stayed it multiple times in a game.

Someone put him at L-1 so he can claim. I don't think he's said anything about his role except that he's "town"

Already did it and quotes it for emphasis to Luci. VT.

Well I have no clue. Candidates appear to be Darthe, Vos, Tina and I'm not stoked about any of those. I'd rather lynch Vos, cause he's the least likely to contribute something I can work with.

I know Luci, I myself didn't put her in the clear. But then you accord everyone a benefit of doubt. And seeing as how this has happened in the past in this very game itself, we have to be very cautious. I feel it would be better to come out with minimum loss to the town.

Hmm, likely enough.

Golden, from your comments can I assume that, you've viewed someone as town, but it might not be Tina?

Indeed Luci, we are not relying on him at all to do all the work. Him being a cop, if he has investigated a person-say O, then if O comes up in our theories as scum-couldn't he confirm whether O was indeed scum.

The above quotes show nothing more than what has been established before. I let myself get in a tangle early game by mixing a joke with gameplay, in retrospect AJ took advantage of that. It's slightly embarrassing and more than a little frustrating.

My 2 cents is that a selective ISO from early-game is more scummy than taking self-critique though. And jumping on my answers, saying I look guilty and dragging out some (quote) "wierd lines" out of context - I fail to see what point you're making, tbh.

Yeah, but from our aspect your little spate could well have been staged. Reading it again, it does appear to be staged. And your self critique looks kinda staged. It's like you're saying-'Oh man, I look foolish because of my argument with AJ. I'm sorry I got deceived so, if you'll decide to lynch me I'll understand. It's always for the good of the team.' It seems to be a last-ditch attempt to avoid a lynch by being magnanimous and taking the hit for all.

I agree with the part that the entire suspicion of Theo started with her read of you. She initially called you out for having thought going in 2 directions, but you responded when others called you out for it. Could well have been staged. She later cleared you as being town but provided no credible reason for doing so.

And lastly-this is something I've been adviced myself-As town, with nothing to hide wouldn't you be better off trying to find others who look scummy and to thereby rightly get the lynch, than going why me and being magnanimous.

Vote Vos

He could be acting magnanimous because GE steamrolled the rest of his team. I mean, if I was in his shoes I def wouldn't have the motivation to try and look town.

Just sayin. /shrug

This story is beginning to draw to a close and as such the weaker members of humanity are being picked off. Without Neo Morpheus has lost his way and without Morpheus the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar is waffling around, indecisive and scared. They are probing the Matrix for answers but all they find are dead ends and death. The Agents are around every corner. It's almost like a cat toying with a...oh no.
