Seriously, if you had even read the coroner and compared it to your character you would know you were alive.  This looks like crap.

 

 

I read it quickly, saw my name and the Hero game bit and thought I was dead somehow.  And was confused.  Didn't really look at the name...and really I rarely do. 

 

Alright, so Peace asks me "if I'm town what happens to your theory" trying to troll for something to discredit me and then another one of my scum reads dies at night.  So transparent by the mafia there.  They've obviously never heard of Monty Hall.  Since I was tunneling Peace yesterday and the mafia killed Despo, Mish is likely scum.

First bold.  So, you find a way to evade a question in which you have no true town answer for and then try and flip it back on me.  I will flip town one of these days..and I'd like the rest of town to remember this post.

My true town answer is that if you flipped town, I would adjust my theory.  As I just have when Despo flipped town.

 

 

I don't believe Verbal has taken a stand on anything yet.  He's doing a great job of hiding any intentions he has, which means late game he can't really be held to the fire on anything. 

 

He jumps ahead of Ishy on my list.  My top 3 candidates are Wombat, Ishy, Verbal.

That's not what you said though.  What you said is it "confirmed" him.  That's a very different matter from saying it gave you a strong town read.

 

As for my logic, it's pretty complicated, but utterly valid.  The mafia may have been scared of Des, but it certainly wasn't for anything he did yesterday.  His top two were Hoof and Leelou.  Therefore, they had another reason for killing Des.  One that wouldn't have worked on Verbal or me.  I gave 3 scum reads yesterday.  Des, you, and Peace.  That the mafia killed Des shows me that they probably wanted me to move away from my reads by killing a townie who was in them.  They probably figured that they could brush it off as WIFOM.  And that's where they fell for my trap.  If the mafia really wanted to WIFOM it up, they should have killed me.  But I'd already WIFOM'd them so they were scared of doing it.  Because it would be WIFOMing with one of their members' lives.  They also probably thought they could get me lynched if they killed Despo.  Silly of them.  So they tried to hedge by killing one of my reads who had also FoS'd me to make town doubt me.  But that's where they messed up.  If there were no scum in my scum reads (highly unlikely), they should have aimed elsewhere knowing that I would probably continue to press my scum reads.  But they didn't.  Cuz there's scum there.  So at least one of you and Peace is probably scum.  And that's where Monty Hall comes in.  The mafia showed me a goat by killing Despo, so now I'm switching doors and voting you.  And I'm gonna win a brand new car.

Alright, finally got through all the posts and right now I feel that peace is probably town but don't have enough feel to say if anyone other than myself, which you'll need to decide for yourselves, is.

 

I currently have a feeling that the mafia includes Nerv, Ish, GF and Verbal. I say this due to their posts being very rare or not giving any real info more than "I agree" or "Vote this guy" with little reasoning or discussion but if day one is usually a joke day then we will see if the trend continues.

 

Everyone else is could go either way on since they don't seem overly scummy but they also don't seem clear town.

I'm partly—on D1 at least—as I said hanging a bit back to let the meta-scrutiny play out. And after my previous post, everything been kind of filled with unplanned drunkness, CERTAINLY unplanned hung-overness while arranging Mich's birthday party. 

 

 

Its understood that some things might not seem familiar to you Vos, just try your best to observe and comment on what you can, and feel free to ask any questions you might have.

 

Was this directed to me? Mich warned me that people would struggle to shorten my name, but for now I got Vos, Nervo and nervositee... we'll see which one sticks ;)

This guy is mafia.  I haven't reversed my meta, I just don't have as much time as I used to.  In spite of this, I was able to find you and your scummate Mish early in D1.  Still got it.

 

 

 

Also, Hoof and Ishy are town.  Nikon town lean.  Verbal null.

Looking for more town cred? Pretty stupid statement imo. Now, if your list of players are all town and you are town then you just gave yourself up as a kill target that implicates those 3 players. Thus increasing the odds of a mislynch the next day while providing scum a great excuse for mislynching someone.

 

Yeah..I doubt you would make a play that poorly as town. Wombat is scum. I'll vote him too as well if anyone wants to run him up.

 

 

 

From what I've read and thought I'd join on Wombat. I agree with Mich that the theories are really grasping at straws - assuming that the mafia will behave just like this and this, thinking this and this. Then delivering that theory in such an agressive and over-confident way seems scummy to me.

Now I'm off to packing for leaving tomorrow. I'm very sorry I been so absent in this game. I underestimated just how much concentration and thought the game requires (even more so when I don't know the other players from before) combined with how much stuff has been happening. I'm counting on keeping up more continuously from here on out.

1.  I don't believe you.  Confirm is a strong word in mafia and you know it.

 

2.  Seeing as I WIFOMed about the mafia killing me and validating my scum reads at night, and both Des and Peace commented on it, I'd say it's pretty likely that played into the mafia decision.  Also, the bolded are huge scumtells.  Nice job dropping them both in one post.  You know as well as anyone that there is nothing that mafia won't do if the circumstances are right, so that's a rubbish WIFOM defense.  As for "grasping at straws" every time I hear that phrase in a mafia game I want to puke.  It's pure spin/rhetoric with no substance.

Mish's play so far this game consists of using too many smileys in an effort to appear amiable and not mafia, complaining about inactivity and then disappearing, defending Peace, dropping scumtells, and OMGUSing me.

Uch. I kinda feel like there is a wine glass in front of me. Still not sure if there is poison in it. But that does seem like the perfectly scummy way to go about with things. "Mafia doesn't do this. I'm mafia, so I'll do this anyway to seem like definite town".

Honestly, I'm wanting to stuff as many smileys as I can into each post just out of spite. Most rubbish scumtell ever.

 

Wombat, remember the game you *just* modded? How many scumtells did I drop then? What was I? Oh, that's right. Town. When you see me dropping few to zero scumtells, that's when you should be wary. I don't give a shit about how I come across as when I'm town. I say whatevers on my mind and that's it.

 

And yeah, I was one of the lead votes on the Hoof train. So?

I didn't see you scumtelling much that game.  Only thing you did that was truly scummy was the bus driver thing and that was only because you didn't spring the trap in time.

I have a town read on Ishy and he was first to vote Hoof, which is a lot better than second in this case imo.

 

Hard defense of scum is null, as scum usually like to bus at some point.  The Verbal lynch wasn't even that bad as you guys leveraged it for info pretty well.  The sheeping/not contributing was more indicative of effort than alignment in this case imo.  But yeah, you're definitely right that I was biased by knowing that you were town.
