And a small reminder about the rules:

 

- no majority-lynch by deadline -> half the townies and half the mafia die. No coroner, no nothing. Voting a "no-lynch" or self-voting is not possible.

 

 

Deadline is in 6.5 hours.

DL is 2 30 am for me and im about to curl up and watch SHIELD before bed so I will vote now.

 

Des  I think you may be stretching slightly on a couple of those points but I am also considering that you have experience playing with verbal. I dont think I have ever played him and your arguments DO make some sense so i will believe you for now.

 

If he flips town however my vote tomorrow goes straight on you because despite a very townie play I know you are sneaky enough to use that to your advantage and we have no confirmation that you are town.

Sorry really need to stop hitting post first before I finish thoughts. 

 

Not really sure how 2 pairs of town lovers would balance out for town. It's a basic game. I know Des says he's got suspicions that Peace is scum, but I'm not 100% on Des.

It's really close to deadline, Dice's play has been off all game. I'd rather hear from Peace before just following Des on a lynch. If we had more time I'd be more willing to look into that avenue, but right now it feels almost like a ploy to get a quick lynch. I'm still on the fence about Verbal myself, but that's because he hasn't posted enough. Through just game play though, I feel more comfortable this close to deadline voting Dice.

Hm... This became complicated.

 

Des - about your first posts. I think we can consider Cloud town. I worry some that you didn´t comment on my post about you. You only commented on the fact that I changed my mind about you. I also got a feeling that you tried to buddy me when saying that me listing you, Leelou and Mish doesn´t mean that I linked you. You post a lot about how Leelou and Verbal play. I don´t remember Leelou nking the people that goes after her. You might be right but I have not thought about that. 

 

Verbal - my thoughts about claiming (which I have dropped although it seems like that is the only thing that people comment about) had nothing to do with cop/doc hunting. I talked about character claimining, not role claiming. There is no way that we can figure out who would be cop/doc among the Weasleys. 

 

After Leelou´s lastest posts I have a more town feeling of her. Still don´t like how she came after Csarmi yesterday. 

 

 

Talking about claims - now we have GF, Cloud and Leelou claiming their real characters. 

 

 

Over to Des Peace/Verbal case. I don´t know what to think. I agree that Verbal has continued to play scummy today. He has commented only on GF and me, who are those that people have talked about the most. Apparently he only care to ISO´d us. (How do you use ISO in a sentense? Can I use it as a verb?) 

 

I checked when Peace was on DM but it´s hidden. So I can´t use that to verify if Des is right about him commenting on the qt but not in this thread. 

 

I wish that Peace could post soon. I don´t know where he live so I´m not sure if he is awake yet. 

 

I just read Leelou´s post and I agree that Dice is playing weird.

I think it's poor wording from Cloud, nothing more.

 

Personally I feel like Leelou is playing a town game right now, she reminds me very of her play in the Halloween-mafia.

 

I actually feel her play has been distinctly different from that game in fact. She was much more vocal and led the town in that game, partially because her doc claim confirmed her as town, but still. She got out her thoughts on multiple players, and would even seem almost wishy washy as she would constantly post her current state of mind about a topic, even if it changed later on.

 

This game she's seemed much more deliberate, she only really talks about the person she's focused on, doesn't comment on everything else around her. And whereas she would be more confrontational with someone she thought was scum in the halloween game, in this game she tended to shy away from direct confrontation with Salami.

 

 

Why would Cloud have Fred as a "fake" claim as well? If we have polyjuiced characters, we're not allowed to reveal our actual characters per the rules. So why would Cloud have Fred as a fake claim if he's not polyjuiced?

I'll say now I am polyjuiced, so cannot reveal my actual character, but for anyone who doesn't have a polyjuiced character: If you're not polyjuiced, do you also have a fake claim?

Okay, I finally cleared up my to-do list. After lunch I'm ISOing the hell out of this game. And responding to Des's crap vote on me. 

 

Doesn't really seem necessary to describe my vote on her (at the time) as a "crap" vote.

I read that post. Far too few thoughts bro. You only really mention a couple players. In the future, instead of just linking to an old comment which doesn't really give your full game thoughts, just think for a moment and make a new post offering them again.

 

Des, Des, Des…where to start…if you are town omg you are all over the place and trying to discredit people. Right now, it’s pretty much a given Cloud is Fred since no one else has countered that Fred is their real claim. I know I would have by now or I would have found some sort of way to prove he’s not who he says he is if “Fred” couldn’t claim their real character. I really find it highly doubtful there are 2 fake claims of Fred out there though with so many Weasleys available.  

 

I've decided I will change my vote after all.

I see more than enough evidence implicating her as scum. She had that strange post in response to Tina's (T: I have this game figured out   L: GF, Des, CS scum team?). I don't like how she pressured CS yesterday, by continuously just saying he was acting scummy without really explaining why much (one of Ithi's favorite scumtells, ie saying someone is scummy enough in the hopes that others will start to think so). She was also very active day 1 in pursuing CS's lynch, yet today she has offered very little in the form of scumhunting (says she is busy, but you know how that goes...). Her play has also seemed too singular this game, she doesn't spend any time commenting on others, instead chooses to keep focus on the one she is trying to get lynched. Looks like deliberate scum play. I also think BFG's NK could have been because of Leelou; BFG was commenting on some of Leelou's posts, to which Leelou responded that BFG was "getting things all mixed up" (eh, how? She never explained how), and Leelou is like Verbal in that she will be quick to NK someone to silence them if they're on her trail.

 

Other than Leelou, I'm wary of Dice for his defensive whyme fryme posts, and cause his vote on GF yesterday seemed somewhat opportunistic. Still wary of Tina, but her day 1 play could have just been cause she was busy, at the very least she has some reads out now. I think right now our best bet for scum is Leelou. And by that I mean she's obviously scum.

 

Okay, I’ll go point by point on this for ya.

 

1.     That response was to try to judge a reaction from Tina that she did not give until she was questioned by Mish and tossed it off as a joke. Still not liking that there was no interaction during the time of that post from Tina.

2.     I didn’t like how boorish salami was getting with telling us exactly how to play and he was coming off scummy because his plan wouldn’t work and it seemed like a ploy for mafia to get out in the open all the townies that could claim their real character. There is a thing as too much information too quickly in a game like this. Scum doesn’t know who can real claim and who has to fake claim. Easy for them to lie, especially since it seems like death is the only way to test a claim.

3.     As to me being busy, suck it, I am. My internet at home sucks – Verbal can attest to this – and my family is very demanding right now. I was busy yesterday catching up on 3 months of filing at work, so yeah I was busy.

4.     I don’t necessarily nk who is on to me as scum. People are not very successful at reading me. Case in point here with you. You know fully how BFG was mixing things up since you corrected her on who I was voting for. - Link to your post here

I'm glad you brought up the fact that "the real Fred" could potentially be polyjuiced and unable to CC. Ignoring that possibility would have seemed more strange. But since you DID bring it up, tell me exactly how you would do so if that's what your situation was: that you were the real Fred, but couldn't say so? How would you prove Cloud was lying without hinting at your character?

 

(for the record I think it's more likely that Cloud IS Fred after all, but I don't like taking anything for granted in mafia. Him saying he had a fake claim even tho he claimed his real character has me still slightly concerned about him)

 

1. It seems like you're throwing around the "it was for reactions" card a lot lately

2. Don't get me wrong, CS can def be boorish, and I personally didn't really agree with his plan either, but that doesn't make him scum. You've played with him enough to know that he's always promoting crazy ideas like that, most often as town. Just because you don't agree with a plan doesn't automatically make the person promoting it scummy. You still don't explain why you couldn't say WHY he was scummy, instead of just saying he was scummy over and over.

3. I'm not saying you're lying about being busy. The thing is, you honestly could be busy... and yet that not really be the reason you weren't posting much after day 1. I think you lied low because you were one of the active leaders of CS's lynch yesterday, and didn't want to be an active leader in another townie's lynch today.

4. I'm not gonna go searching through games, but I do remember you doing that exact thing before, NKing someone who was on your tail. I remember cause I thought it was interesting that you and Verbal had that same scumtell.

 

And as for BFG mixing things up, stop trying to misrep the situation. I thought she was mistaken about who you were voting for, but she wasn't referring to votes, she was referring to the post where you named me, GF, and CS scum (in response to Tina's post). I even posted "Ahh yeah, I remember that" right afterwards. I don't think BFG was mixed up at all, I think she was doing a good job of reviewing everything in front of her and making good observations based off of that. She was my strongest town read yesterday. Sucks that she got killed, so few of the townies left are making their "towniness" clear.

 

As for that last fishing comment, I'll address that in a sec

 

 

Btw Verbal, as someone who knows Leelou well, what do you think of her play this game?

Non-commital before this past day, but starting to get engaged now.  I'd lean town, as I'm feeling the same way.  I was super busy this past weekend and so far at work this week - been to crazy to get here and post.  Now it is calming down, I'm more engaged myself.  Slight town.

 

 

Non-committal? Are you crazy?! She was fully committed to CS being scum yesterday, she was one of the most vocal leaders of his lynch. Cannot believe you think Leelou's play was non-committal... Def thinking you two are scum together.

 

So I read up on my top 2:  GF & Tina

 

I read up on Tina mostly because she's been really active and making comments - I wanted to see if I found something fishy.  Other than the insistence on us claiming, I'm not seeing anything particularly suspicious.  I didn't notice any contradictions, and that's a huge thing for scumhunting.  I'm on the fence with her, because the claim idea makes me get nervous she's trying to cop/doc hunt.  I don't like that.

 

At this point, my top 2 are still GF and Tina, but I'd probably be more willing to vote TIna for the potential she's cop/doc hunting.  I need to look into others.  Prob Leelou among them, as my response above was off recent memory of the game - I'll need to look deeper.

 

To address both Leelou (above) and Verbal here about the potential cop/doc hunting yall are talking about: Bullshanks.

 

I don't know much about the Weasleys, but I know Ron is the most famous of them. And yet he flipped as a VT disguised as a Lover. I think it's safe to say that the mafia team would gain VERY LITTLE from others claiming characters.

 

This seems like bush league fear-mongering to me. Furthermore, Leelou apparently wasn't THAT worried about this concept, since she ended up claiming her "real" character quick enough anyways.

Easiest solution is just to lynch one of us. If you think I could be scum, you should have no problem with that. Obviously this wouldn't be my favorite option, since I want to live long enough to help deal with the rest of the scum team, but Peace failing to post in here even tho he chided me for claiming in our QT tells me he is definite scum, so I'd be fine with getting sacrificed.

Horrible post. I don't remember you once fos'ing Dice before this (or rather the post immediately preceding where you say he laid the foundation for my lynch tomorrow). And why bring up that stuff about Verbal being a quick lynch when you vote an outlier? At this point it would be a quick lynch on anyone.

I didn't feel the need to defend myself from you. I know I'm town, and I knew I was at little danger of being lynched, and I didn't really see anything worth addressing. I think you made much better cases on others, yet you still voted me. Personally I think you just never want to trust me, and always think I'm scum. /shrug

 

I wasn't buddying you when I pointed out that you didn't link us. It was me exposing Leelou's flawed logic, not an attempt to buddy you.

 

I don't know WHY so many people think Leelou is playing a town game. In my opinion her game has been MORE than questionable. Seriously, she attacked CS hard yesterday, yet never gave much reason except for "He's scummy", shied away from saying what about the claim idea she didn't like, and has gotten defensive several times today, and throws her vote on an outlier hours before the deadline (fyi, Dice always plays weird. Even more so as town)

 

Is there anything specific you did want me to address Tina? You agree Verbal has played scummy today, I think you made good points when you did an iso on him earlier.... so why again do you not feel like going with my idea? Whether or not Peace posted on the QT shouldn't really have much bearing on this.

Tbh, I'm rooting for a no majority lynch by deadline at this point. I have been spot on with reads lately, have made some great observations this game I think, and have done a good job showing my willingness to find scum. And yet I'm being ignored yet again (except for you Dice, thanks). So sick and tired of having great reads ignored. Happened in the KoH game, happened in a recent BT game, happened in another game on this board recently. Just really frustrating, devoting as much energy as I do to mafia games just to be ignored, especially when I've been on my game lately.

I went back and looked at Des´s and Peace´s reactions after Csarmi´s claim. Des´s reaction makes sense if he is a lover. We never got any reaction from Peace since he posted later when a lot of other stuff had happened. I also don´t see why Des would fake claim lovers at this point. I´m not sure it was very wise though. If he and Peace are both town mafia can get 2 kills tonight. If we lynch wrong today that means game over. But we also have a doc of course and we don´t know if the lovers are both town. I don´t see any good town - mafia combo (maybe Lucius and Ginny since he gave her the diary) but the other lovers pair didn´t make sense either. 

 

So I will consider Des town for now. So, do I like his case on Verbal? I don´t know what to say about Peace maybe telling Verbal to stop buddying Des. I know nothing about it, have only Des own word to go on so I will not base any conclutions on that. But the rest is interesting and I´m suspicious of Verbal. It was interesting that Leelou barely commented on Des´s posts but voted Dice right away after Des´s case. 

 

About Peace - he has again just parked his vote on GF. I really wish GF would speak up and actually play the game but I don´t agree with most of you. The way he tried to figure out the game mechanics makes him look town in my eyes,

10. Dice

 

Dice really hasn’t posted much this game, mostly quiet D1 and defensive of his play. He voted when he was pressured into voting. D2 states he would have voted the lovers, not really giving any reads outside what the hot topics are in the game.

 

 

People really need to step it up this game and start participating. Right now, I could vote for Tina, GF, Dice or Des. My vote right now is going to stay on GF.

You have a good read from time to time like everyone else. I know I don't pay that much attention to your reads I don't agree with because I've seen where you are wrong, and this is over the top emo. You are very wrong on reading me. I'm not sure if it's personal or you just think I'm scummy. I've given a list of thoughts on everyone left alive and am playing when I can. I don't like being accused of lying about RL because I don't do that. Even when scum, if I'm busy and don't post it means I'm busy and can't post.

I never said anywhere in my post that I was worried about cop/doc hunting. I was talking about mafia being able to lie about claiming if they had a real claim or a fake claim. Stop tying me to Verbal so tightly.

I'd be building a case on him and actually vote him and push for his lynch. Even if it got me lynched/killed it would prove he was lying about it being his real claim.
