Niniel Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 On our way home from town some days ago my daughter asked me this question. If there was a war between cats and birds, which side would the griffins fight for? Vote and explain your vote.
Niniel Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 We had a lot of thoughts about it. One was that they would be so confused that they went mad and started to fight each other instead.
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 they would fight as flying predators and as cats against smaller cats. nasty creatures, birds of prey. they would see a furry nom stalking through the grass and would dive and pounce and not think twice. great cats kill lesser ones and adult males kill kittens so griffins, even in their cat hearts, would have no compunction choosing sides. nasty beasties.
csarmi Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 ehm why would griffins have anythign to do with cats of all things?
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 someone else wiki it for him, I'm tired
Niniel Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 ehm why would griffins have anythign to do with cats of all things? *puts on teacher glasses* As you can see on this pic, the griffin is a combination of a lion and an eagle. Thus it´s both a cat and a bird.
NeverTame Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 They wouldn't join in; such petty squabbles between ordinary non-hybrid animals are beneath their dignity.
Theodora Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 They will tell cats they'll help They will tell birds they'll help After battle starts they will do neither After battle ends, they will eat all
Niniel Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 *notes all the different theories* No one believe that they will support the cats?
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 we do not trust the hunters that fly, meow nope. and wow we have all put a lot of thought into this...
Zhon Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 They wouldn't join in; such petty squabbles between ordinary non-hybrid animals are beneath their dignity. Either that or they'd see themselves so detached from either species due to their grace and raw power that they'd see both sides as food and have a massive hunting spree against both. Cats and birds uniting against the gryphons, fight of the century!
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 kitties mostly take care of the tasty nestlings. mmmmmm.....featherssssssssss... tickly :)
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 and I have a new understanding of what if comics now...
The Dragon al'thor Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Definitely with the birds. Why roll around with the creatures on the earth when you can take to the winds?
Leyrann Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Why are you all so naïve to think griffins exist?
Niniel Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 Why do you think griffins don´t excist? Some interesting theories so far.
Niniel Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 Bird. They have a mind and heart of a bird My daughter agrees with you but she also think that the griffin has the heart of a lion.
Leyrann Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Species don't exist until there is scientific proof they do.
Mrs. Cindy Gill Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Species don't exist until there is scientific proof they do. thought processes - concrete ley, your mental status is slightly impaired. you may need to increase brownie consumption.
Leyrann Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 What is insanity? If in a group of people, everyone believes that the earth is flat, and then, one goes ahead and claims it is round, and says he will sail around the world, is he insane? We would say no, but in the past, yes was the answer. And maybe, he was. Maybe his insanity made him think something, that then turned out, to be the truth, even though he did not know. Is insanity, to believe that, that is wrong, or to believe that, what noone else believes? Or, to word it in another way, to not believe what everyone else believes?
