Pral, the only thing that would make sense (provided BG's claim was true) is that BG got framed and they attempted to NK Mish.

But that looks weird for two reasons: 1) why frame BG (viewing BG wouldn't make much sense now, as I mentioned above) 2) why try to frame AND nk the cop at the same time

Redirector makes no sense btw, there is no way a maffia team wouldn't manage to NK with a redirector role in hand.

 

So baffled. What about just going with the simple. Mish is Cop + BG is scum + RTE is doc + RTE played last night/this morning horrible.

Honestly, so many of the points made against me (not CCing, why I said I'd survive, etc) have such obvious responses it's sad that you're all missing it.

Another thing that I don't get is where this recruiting idea's coming from. BG sounds as if he is pulling it out of thin air. Just some useless WIFOM talk. I could leave it there, but then Despo, you say Mish been recruited. What gives?

 

Don't think Mish was lying bout being the Cop. She would have been CC'ed by now.

 

When she eventually revealed her viewings, they didn't sit right with me. Then she reveals a guilty on BG (another strange target imo), but says she doesn't want a rushed lynch. Also tells everyone to ignore w/e BG says, and asks for an "Aye aye" from everyone. Struck me as very scummy.

 

Yates comments. Ergo, Mish could be compromised. Savvy?

I do think we might be in lylo however. Depends on if GF was town. If so, and scum started off with 4 + a recruit, which isn't unbalanced really, then it would be 5 scum to 6 town right now. Well I guess technically mylo then. Still, prob endgame.

 

@RTE: There is no way you'll be able to convince me you wouldn't have cc'ed BG immediately if you were really the Doc. It was coming up on an even night, you would have been able to self-protect. More importantly, we had 6 dead townies and no scum to show for it. Not cc'ing as the real half Doc would have been one of the worst mafia decisions ever by a non-newb. Only reason I unvoted is I think there are still some things in the air (BG says he protected Mish last night which stuffed the NK, but then why would mafia target her if she was already converted?) that could use clearing up. But if it does turn out you're town, you REALLY should regret acting the way you did, and not cc'ing at the right time.

If I CC'ed:

 

-Scum know who the cop and remaining doc are

-Scum know the cop is more important and more dangerous to them. Scum know that I know that. Scum know that it's better to keep her alive for town than a every-other-night doc

-Scum know I'll protect Mish and they kill me

-Mish gets one more night and then she's a goner and scum easily win.

 

If I don't CC:

 

-Scum think that the cop is getting the protect tonight because by the next odd day (tonight) they will kill her

-Scum need to find and kill the even night doc because they know that likely the kill on the cop won't go through as she's protected

-Scum know that claiming Doc will hopefully draw out a counter claim so all the cards are in their hand

-No counter claim but RTE comes at hardest against BG's claim. RTE likely the doc

-Kill RTE who will be protecting Mish

-RTE outsmarts the scum team on that regard, protecting himself and leaving Mish vulnerable. But it works: scum team target RTE for the NK, RTE self protects, now doc and cop are still alive.

 

I am not going to be explaining this again. Keep telling me how it was the worst move ever. Let's see if our LIVING Cop while your doc still lives (until you lynch him) agrees.

 

I said the replacement comment because I am not planning to be at all helpful for the remainder of the game. Self protects are going to myself as Mish will be gone and anyways Scum probably wins in two more night phases, especially if GF was town which is still a possibility (scummy play or just noob town? Hard to tell).

RTE, sorry if I sounded condescending. It just sounded like I did a few years (maybe even a few months back) and I have learnt better.

I might be having a KISS day today, but I don't see the point of going to all that trouble instead of just ensuring a sure scum lynch, then either simply protect the cop (gives a scum lynched + another cop view on a smaller pool), or wifom the save (gives a scum lynched + either a doc or a cop alive), instead of NOT lynching scum, then risking the cop pointlessly.

Yes but you are assuming a few things:

 

1) People believe me over BG (HA! Yea, see how that one is going?)

 

2) Enough people on to secure the lynch (Doubtful after the terrible random)

 

Both of these things you seriously need to consider. Look now, BG is CC'ed  and is anyone voting for him other than me? And I have a town view and he has a scum view from the unCC'ed cop.

 

I don't think you were being rude. I'm just disappointed you didn't see through BG and agree with me. I'm also disappointed no one except the scum team picked up why I was going after BG so hard. I also don't think I was being rude last night. I wasn't so drunk and for the most part was very careful with my wording. This is a game. When I kick someone on the face in Taekwondo I don't apologize. When I call out a scum player and tell town they are playing like crap I'm not going to apologize either. It's the game.

Also, I think that the reason for the absence of a kill is because I blocked someone tonight. That or a doc claim of course.

I thought about if it´s time to reveal or not but I think we need to get the information out there and even if I die tonight I will still be able to protect Mish.

Des: Seriously. I just can't beleive you. I just... No. I come out with a guilty-viewing, the person in question immediatly starts to spout things about recruitment, and you swallow it whole? Honestly.

 

And you are questioning my views. This is my first time as cop, should be mentioned. N1 and N2, I went with the two person I find hardest to read and that I know I would potentially waste a lot of time on back and forths-with, if I didn't view them. That was Red and you. N3, I went with my gut, wich was very worried about RTE because of his objections about timing of my claim bla bla bla, it felt to me a little like a mafia trying to discredit me so they could hopefully get a lynch on me. Last Night, I hadn't even SEEN BG's claim. Friday night I only came on to post my views, I didn't read a thing, I was at a Halloween party and had no interest in sitting on my phone for an hour to catch up. Yesterday, I was sooo sick, I didn't even log into DM before almost nine in the evening, because I remembered I ahd to get my action in; I didn't check the thread first, I chose the first name that popped into my head. I believe way more in going with gut as a cop; if the mafia has some kind of redirector, like a busdriver, I know from my own experience as mafia, that they will drive the mafia member that has gotten attention, with a townie. I didn't want to be predictable in my views for the mafia to tamper with them.

 

And why I didn't want a speedlynch? Because we had a great opportunity. We are in a really, really bad situation numbers wise. I had found a mafia, and I wanted to share it with you, but I also wanted interactions to help us next Day, not just a speed-train where everyone says "vote BG" and not a word more.

In fact, RTE looks totally scum to me. The timing of that doc cc is just horrible.

It makes no sense at all to do it now. It also makes no sense at all to not do it yesterday. What's weird about it is that it dont make any sense to do it now, not for scum, not for town doc. Not for anyone.

He keeps talking nonsense BTW. For instance, he says he would live two more days. An odd night's coming up.

The N0 thing makes no sense either.

That he wouldn't give his views (his saves on N2/N4 would effectively be views that is) makes no sense.

Also, why assume some crazy theories in stead of some simple ones. Like Mish telling the truth. Or like redirection bring in play?

Another thing that's weird to me is Mish viewing BG in the first place. What for? If BG was lying, he would be likely to get cc'd at some point unless there IS no even night doc.

Which brings me to Tina. Tina, you say both are scum. But how could that be? There must have been a save on N2 and N4.

Another thing that gives me seriously weird vibes is the random lynch. We wasn't even close! I did see some seriously horrid deadlines but this just goes beyond imagination. Like half the game just didn't even seem to care? Acted like it wasn't even happening it looked like.

Do you believe Mish or not Tina? If you do, then I only see a couple of options for your scum reads to be true. 

Despo and RTE according to Mish are both town, so if you see them as mafia and recruitment is too far fetched, then Mish must have been messed with twice already. In which case you must concede the possibility that her view on me could have been tampered with.

Or there is recruitment in play, in which case, Mish's findings are bunk as anyone on her list could be compromised, or even herself.

 

I mentioned before. I'm calling the mafia team as RTE, Tina, Key, Krak, and probably one other. Mish as a possible recruit.

It´s possible that there is a redirector or there is a GF etc. But I certainly believe that you are mafia, it´s fairly obvious and Des did all he could to protect you. I definitely think RTE is in your team as well but even if I´m wrong then we have you and Des and probably the person that I blocked last night. You are not going to talk yourself out of this.

Could be doc protection, could be a block, could be a recruit, could be a lot of things.
