So I am doing the dungeon finder and love it.  I have leveled almost 4 times in two days.  And I get cool blue gear.  Well... I get the same cool blue belt over and over... and over. 

 

I changed my Priest from a Shadow spec to a Holy spec to become a better healer.  I figure I can always change it back.

 

I need about 1k more gold to get my Artisan flying.  I am in a catch 22.  I am trying to complete a quest line in Shadowmoon but need Artisan flying to go any further.  When I play my main I mine and get high level drops that sell well on the market.  I am still making about 200g a day so I will get there eventually I guess.

I'm starting to get tired of my Shaman.  I just don't like melee DPS, I guess.  Tanking is fun, so I like the Warrior, but he's only a lvl 25.  My Shaman is lvl 51, so perhaps I'll stick it out to get a DK at lvl 55.

 

Or....I could respec my Shaman to either Elemental (caster DPS) or Resto (healing).  Not sure.....Resto seems cool, as I'd be impossible to kill, but it would take FOREVER to kill something.

So I respecced last night to Resto Shaman.  Eh.  That's my thought so far:  eh.  I don't think I like it.  Lots of healing, but not good for leveling.  I'm just sick of the melee Shaman right now, even though that's what I'm geared for.  Doh.

 

How much is the 2nd respec?  I think Elemental (poor man's Mage) might be better for me.  I'm level 52, so I can try a DK in a few levels.  We'll see.

 

Emp, I definitely would like to run some instances with my warrior - I need to learn2tank.

Well level 25 means we could still run some low instances (deadmines, stocks) and even if you sucked as a tank it wouldn't matter.  Plus I would heal you lots. 

 

When do you want to meet up?  I can be up a little late tonight (11ish) or definitely tomorrow night.

I really liked elemental, but I also leveled my shaman quite a long time ago.  Elemental is my favorite spec for her now, but I don't know what level you get lava burst at and that's part of my bread and butter rotation.  She's dual spec'd resto and I MISS riptide when I swap back to ele, but resto is definitely slow for killing.  It probably means I was "doing it wrong" but I found I had more mana troubles with enh than ele back in the day, but drinking was still annoying as ele.  I've never really liked melee dps, so for me ele was much more interesting than enh, but your milage may vary.

 

One of these days I'll log on and start leveling my mage there even if I manage to log on by myself again.  I haven't actually been playing at all lately.  My 30 second logins on Sen'jin are the most WoW time I've logged in about 2 months.  :)

I agree - melee DPS just isn't my thing either.  If I'm gonna kill something, I wanna blow it up!

 

I'm seriously considering transferring my Mage over to Sen'jin.  It's only level 14, but it has a full set of nice greens and a full complement of huge bags.....and a bunch of gold, I think.

 

I'll leave the Shaman specced Resto for when I get him to endgame for healing, but I might play the Mage and Warrior the most.  I need a break from the Shaman - I'll just get him to lvl 55 first for the DK possibility.

 

 

Emp, I may or may not be online early tonight (might be playing hockey), but I can definitely do tomorrow night.  I'll find out what time and we can chat here tomorrow and make a date.  :-*

At level 14? Nothing at level 14 is worth the 25 bucks it costs to transfer servers. Especially since you could have all that and better in about one week or less.

1 hour a day? jeesh your casual gamer. Thats 1 sitting for someone who actually raids.

 

Old addage in mmorpgs, you can't get shit done in one hour...

course, that was back during the EQ days, where it TOOk you an hour to get to the spot to kill the creatures to level up. And people who killed for 5 minutes and said they had to go, ussually got black listed for screwing the entire team over. :p

getting to 14 might only take me a week or so, but there's a bunch of gold and crafted cloth on that toon, as well as 4 18-slot bags.  That would take even more to get, so I think I'll transfer him over and get a head start.  Besides, once my RAF buddy levels more, he'll grant a few levels to the Mage and I'll likely have him at 20 before I notice it.

Made level 8 tonight.  Was logged on for more than 30 seconds.  ;)  But it was after nighty night time for most of you.  It had been a while since I leveled 1-5 and I didn't know they'd changed all of the mobs in the early starting area to neutral.  Even the ones that used to run don't anymore.  It was weird waiting for the defias to attack me when I grabbed the fruit barrels and then having nothing happen.

Have I mentioned that I love death knights but I hate to play them?  Since they showed up, the auction house price on low level mats has gone through the roof.  I made 16g on 3 stacks of copper and I tend to underprice compared to what everyone else is charging.  I don't mind coming back to farm my own later when I pick up either jewelcrafting or inscriptions (my two favorites) but for right now I'm mining and herbalism and stashing cash for later.  :D  Yay DKs!

Last night was fun.

 

Cat - Caerwyn, Barm and Nae hung out for a few.  Nae is on a trial account but seems to be enjoying herself and Barm is only back temporarily.  I ran Barm through Stocks with Cat and then Cat and I did a random dungeon finder together and got a terrible tank.  We wiped once in the SM library because I got silenced and the tank died.  Since I wasn't soulstoned and another person had died, I shadowmelded to bring us back to life.  Of course the tank went crazy wondering why I suddenly stop healing people. 

 

I am 500 rep points from being revered with netherwing.  This means when I get home today and do my dailies I will open up even more dailies for the final push to exalted.  I lost that last race two more times.

I only died once killing defias pillagers and the other defias thing on that quest in that cave.  I think that was a record for me, but it was also my first alliance mage to make it that far.

I tend to play later than most people too since I'm PST and not one of those easterly timezones.  I've only been guilded for a few days though and have really irregular play time right now due to crazy life.  Unless I'm playing after 9pm PST I could afk at any second due to kids, so that's an added bonus. 

"Pookie?  ...Pookie?  WTF is she doing??" as I fall off a cliff due to someone's devious practices when being auto-followed.  :P

Lots of updates.

 

I dinged 38 with my Healer.  Still loving it.  I get compliments all the time on my healing.  I feel special.. and pretty.  I will probably get to to 40 in before Wednesday. 

 

Story:  So I was running a random dungeon when we lost one of dps people midway.  I am checked off as a healer or dps to get into dungeons as quickly as possible.  For the first time, I am assigned dps mid dungeon.  Man, I had to change my mindset quickly.  It didn't help that the healer we got SUCKED compared to me and I switched back to help them heal.  They let a few people die before I jumped in though. 

 

I dinged 75 with my main.  FDM and I ran around Northrend the other day and got tons of flightpoints.  Thank god, cause now I don't have to to go to stormwind to get back to northrend from Dalaran.  I also got my first epic mount.  I am flying on an Onyx Dragon. 

 

I am 'working from home' Thursday and Friday... which means tons of time devoted to leveling.
