I can stay up late Friday night.... and maybe Saturday night.  The problem is I get bored.. or tired... just sitting around waiting... then I log off.

 

Tonight I can stay up a little later than usual... like til 11 as I am working from home Friday.

 

I plan to be on much of the day on Friday too.

After next month, my triple xp is over, at which point I can designate a day that I can be online somewhere around 9-ish.  That would give us 2 hours of questing, which is a good block.

 

Until then, I'm mostly questing with my triple xp buddy, and he goes online at the same time I do.  But I can blow him off once in a while to quest with you guys....which I'd rather do anyway, lol.

Just get your main as high as you can of course.  I have people at all different levels.

Right now I'm at 48 (Shaman), 28 (Priest), and 25 (Warrior).

 

I've always wanted to try a Warrior, so I might spend some time on him if my RAF is not online when I'm on.  Right now, he's my AH mule, but I want to try my hand at tanking a bit, so we'll see.

 

Actually, Emp, I want to make a request:

 

Can I purchase some mail armor and a sword from you to properly gear up my Warrior?  He started the game at lvl 25, so I don't have the benefit of quest rewards yet.  I figured that created armor is better than quest rewards.....is this true?

Verbal... wait till I am on tonight.  When you see me I can link my skill and you can pick the items you want.

 

Or better yet... search the blacksmithing skill and figure out what you want.  If you want it quickly, send me mats for it.  However buying the mats on the AH will probably be expensive than the final product.  More than likely I can get the mats quickly and free given a little time tonight.

Engineering made me want to wimper and curl up into a little ball, but I have friends who love it.  My mistake was probably that the two characters I tried it on were both bag-intensive classes (rogue poisons and hunter arrows pre-wrath when bag space was much worse) so I never had enough room in my bags to actually carry the stuff I made and use it.  Mining, however, is my favorite gathering profession.  :)

I've got mining & engineering on my new Warrior, and finally got all my spells.  Wow, that was a debacle, trying to purchase and configure 25 level's worth of spells at once.

 

My poor Shaman is too low level in Herbalism for Gadgetzan, so I had to come back into Elwynn Forest to gather low level herbs.  I love when a pack of lvl 8 wolves start hitting my lvl 48 Shaman.  I didn't even realize it for a minute or so, lol.  Then I dropped an AOE totem and walked away.....love the one-shotting of a pack of wolves.

When I did WoW, I went skinning/leather working.

 

I soloed Elite T-Rex's in that Giant Crator, when I was 8 levels lower than the Rex.

I made several gold off of there leather...

 

And yes, it is possible for a T-Rex to sneak.

Don't let there lumbering hulk size fool you, They know how to sneak...

Woo, back in WoW now. My prof is herbalism and inscription. No real money to be made off of it but eh, don't really care. Haven't gotten very far into it though. Going to have to make some herb runs sometime.

hmmm summing up my weekend...

 

Dero joined Senjin last night.  Actually I think he...she... joined earlier as they were already level 17.  This person seems to be much more knowledgable than I in WoW, so they scare me.  One of their first comments was "Oh Premonition is on this server".... 

 

Canuk invited me on my first raid last night.  I was actually really worried people would point and laught at me.  I should not have been that worried.  It was hectic... it felt like an army of ants taking down some prey.  We finally got owned by these 4 guys a few times before people quit.  Again, not my fault... even thought Canuk playfully blamed me once when we got wiped waiting to start (someone rezzed a person to close to the bosses). 

 

I got my Priest to 20.  This was my goal this weekend.  I also did the random dungeon finder with her because everyone needs a healer.  The first group I met up with (I was level 16) complained I didn't have enough mana.  Of course they all acted like tanks because our main tank was a newbie and was the party leader... and died at the beginning and never became alive again.  I upgraded my gear a little with some more intellect and scrolls and met up with another party later.  They said I was the best healer ever.  Of course I never let anyone die... except when they aggroed too many people.  Or I was in mid heal and they all ran behind me.

 

I also partied with random people to quest as my priest.  I actually trained a newbie how to be a tank with his druid because he kept changing out of bear form to cast spells.  There was a time *I* was tanking!!!  I should have gotten out of the party when he said "Look at my otter form... isn't it cool... watch me fly out of the water"  I think he friended me.

My weekend was about getting my Shaman to level 50 - got it around 2am on Sunday morning.  Was teamed with 2 druids (1 tanking and 1 healing), and I was the DPS.  We ran Zul'Farrak in Tanaris and got some good loot and xp.  I wanted to log on last night to play the Warrior for a bit, but I was too tired.

 

Empy, my Warrior is only 25 - once you catch me with the Priest, we'd make a good tank/healer team.  Now we just need some DPS, and I need to learn how to tank.  Hehe.

Verbal:  Awesome!  Pait asked me to wait for him as his new hunter is at level 14.  I will wait for him to get to 15, run a few dungeons and then level her up to 22ish so we can roll together.  Also my Lock is 50 so we can quest together with those two.

 

I actually think I will run many more dungeons and raids with the priest as I feel I have an important role.  I can't imagine being a priest in a 24 man raid though...

I feel the same way about the Warrior - being a true tank is something I've never done, and I think it's important to be good at.

 

Also, btw, I moved my computer into the basement this weekend.  This means that Verbal is now on voice chat 100%.  I'll dl skype tonight, and be available on either WoW chat, Skype, or Ventrilo.  Woot.

Also another heads up.

 

FDM and I created another Guild on the server named "That is What She Said".  If you don't get the reference I apologize.  The "Shayol Ghul" guild still exists for DMers and still has many of our higher level toons on it as well as our mains.  SG is limited in the number of tabs available to guild members, so the creation of this new guild will offer extra tabs.  At the moment we have two tabs available but plan to add a third shortly.  "That is What She Said" will also be adding new members outside of DM while I believe SG will be exclusive to DM.

hmm... perhaps that's why I didn't see anyone in the shayol ghul guild during the 13 seconds that I logged in on Friday.  ;D  I know, big time commitment there.  I'm still standing on the start point, but I have full rested!  ::)

 

I have a bunch of stuff I want to procrastinate on, so you might see me more soon.  I just don't want to update my mods.  :-\  Takes forever these days and my hubbie wonders why I still don't have necrosis for my lvl 51 warlock.  :P
