I'm most willing to go Krak. He did NOTHING to supress my worries about him when he popped up today. I'm not completly sure I buy Lily's reveal completly; but I'll sit back and watch there for a bit more. Darthe, I keep hopping back and forth on with every post he makes basically, so can't make up my mind there. I def prefer a Krak lynch today. I'm heading to bed now, but I'll be back before deadline, although I'm going to a funeral tomorrow so I won't be able to be as active as I'd usually be.

Yes. Krak is chosen because he doesn't contribute. Someone who seems to go out of his way to stay noncommittal and only pops up occasionally is not acting in the towns best interest. A couple of people have already called him out on it and he still posts nothing of content. That looks scummy in my opinion. I can see why you don't like the Mish comment because I see no way to win in that situation. That is why I said that is a discussion for another day. At this point, I am willing to vote you (Darthe) or Krak.

Would also be willing to lynch Aemon for FoSing her and then soft defending her in the same post. His reason for not wanting to lynch her doesn't even make sense. All he did was use the phrases "WIFOM" and "can of worms" in the same sentence to try to scare people off of Mish.

Then let me elaborate. Best case scenario, both Mish and Des are scum and the lovers reveal was a bluff to keep town at bay. In that case, one dies and the other survives to be lynched the following day. I find that implausible, by it is a possibility. More likely is that Des is telling the truth. That gets us a one-for-one and Des takes a pot shot into the crowd and more than likely hits town. That makes it two town and one scum down going into night phase. We get pretty much the same result if Des is the scum and Mish is town, except that he will definitely target town. Worst case scenario is that both are town and Des hits one more townie on his way out. I know your mind and I know you have already thought of all these possibilities. The only thing we get from a Mish lynch right now is three bodies on the floor and no idea how many are town and how many are scum. Throwing an FoS at me for not making a long post on things that are obvious? I think you're just fishing for a reaction.

The fact that we have no idea if either of them are scum and we won't find out from a coroners report. That's quintessential WIFOM. Do we kill a townie to possibly get a scum when the we won't know if we did get a scum once the deed is done?

The only part I disagree with is his uncertainty.  If we are going to lynch them we should do it, not wait.  A definitive stance is key here.  I don't want them lynched though.  

 

Mafia seems to want me dead.  There's been absolutely nothing happen today but Lily and I.  Her claim killed her lynch and nothing has brought another train to bare.  That's going to suck tomorrow.

Beef/Aemon is my highest suspect after Lily's claim. Krak is not contributing, true. I don't like a lovers lynch, don't like a Darthe lynch.

 

I guess I could buy Wombat being scum, his play has a little off/scum feel for him.

 

RTE appears to be town. No read on Tina (probably haven't concentrated on her enough).

 

At this point I don't remember who I'm missing. Gonna check.

Darthe, you are right about statistical certainty of course. Add "I find it likely" and such. I don't wanna talk in math terms too much. And yes, some scenarios exist where this is all wrong. For instance all maffia having town appearance would. Or most town having scum appearance.

 

Maybe there's a pattern to it too. Maybe that's what we need to figure out.

 

What happened since my last statement? Nyn did. I assumed there would be no more millers out...

But I don't see how this is the worst time. Everyone can claim to be a miller all they want and it won't matter much in the long run because we won't know if it's true or not. I threw this info in because, as usual, Salami was making wrong assumptions. And it's not the first time (nor last!).

What I want right now is to hear about Lily's results. Her reveal is VERY hard to swallow. And I want to see what crap she feeds us. I'm not saying her results will give anyone town cred... but the more she talks, the better.

I'm not sure where I'll place my vote, I'm still thinking it over.

 

As far as Krak goes, the casing I did came up a bit empty because of how little he posted. One of the things that stuck out the most was his constant siding with Nolder. He also overreacted somewhat when arguing with Des and never bothered addressing the points he made against him. He's been away longer then stated and he's been overall absent.

 

I recall Mish mentioning earlier that in a previous game Krak did the same when he was scum (aka being inactive and flying under the rader). Which is true. But I'm not sure if I'm a fan of using that kind of reason to vote someone. Still, I've not known Krak to be this quiet.

 

I think I'll try to draw up another case and then decide who's it gonna be,

Lets look a bit into Mish, shall we?

 

First day she walks in and says she feels like she did on her first mafia game all over again. She gets a bit frazzeled when Des accuses her of lurking and feigning being confused. She claims it's because it's her first bastard game and that she's normally lurky on day 1. She then calls out berf for contradicting himself, saying golden means truth but at the same time believing the content of his pm, even though it's not in gold.

 

Then she makes a couple of nonsense posts. In the next post of substance she thinks that we shouldn't go after Verbal, that he's always gonna be there to lynch and that we should focus on finding mafia. Then she votes Nolder, because it doesn't make sense to her that Nolder is pushing the angle of lynching Verbal. Why? She doesn't really say. Then with the two trains forming she mentions that she is willing to go either way (Lenlo or Nolder) because both would be interesting lynches, but that she rather choose Nolder over Len because of a 'gut feeling'.

 

Another nonsense post. Then she supports Lily when she bites salami's head off for trying to put a spin to Ishy showing 10 minutes after the deadline when Ishy had already let everyone know he was getting off work at that time. Then Despo reveals that they are lovers and accuses Mish of being scum. She defends herself and tells him off for revealing the information at night. Then she says that she used the words 'interesting lynch' cause it would be interesting to get either Nol or Len's alignment.

 

She argues some with Salami. She mentions that there's more likely more town that read as scum and most likely, scum that read as town. She keeps the back and forth convo with Despo about her not being scum, that she just plays bad on D1 and that Despo is paranoid and got it in his head that one of them MUST be scum so he's not giving her the benefit of the doubt.

 

More nonsense posts. Then she says she feels like she's gonna be lynched next. That normally she wouldn't care but this will result in town losing like 3 people. She suggests that Des be lynched and she'll sacrifice herself for him. She says that Salami won some brownie points with her and that right now she thinks he's town. She doesn't think Lily pings. She doesn't think it's a good idea to take her down. She thinks the way to go are either Lenlo or Krak. So she votes Krak. The reasoning given is that he was scummy on D1.

 

She wakes up the next day to find that it's 15 hours before deadline and still no train has formed. Damn. She calls out RTE for trying to fish around the mechanics of the lovers role. She also says his vote on dice looks opportunistic and switches her vote to RTE. She argues against Lenlo that this isn't the time to solve the WIFOM around the Des Mish combo. She FOSes Lenlo for tryng to stop town from reaching a majority. She calls out RTE for not addressing her points against him.

 

RTE makes a snide comment about Despo and Mish surviving the night and Mish confronts him saying RTE believed them to be town and now suddenly he's suspicious they survived the night. She mentions that she'll be willing to vote dice, but that her first candidate is RTE and she places her vote there. She ends up TRYING to vote dice... but her vote doesn't seem to switch from RTE to dice. Why, I wonder? :P She blames scum. She pushes very hard to reach a majority on dice. Some nonsense bla bla bla posts.

 

 

Well, since we don't get any coroners and so have no idea at how all we're doing, I'm tempted to just lynch Verb now and get it over with.

She says she's confused now and unsure of her statement.

 

 

 

 

Ishy wasn't a lover I think; it looked like Pral and Dap was lovers, because their names was listed right after each other:

 

 

Dap, Red Queen, has been killed.

Pralaya, White Queen, is dead.

 

Ishy, Beast, has been killed.

 

And the wording about Pral, "is dead" instead of "had been killed", would make it seem like Pral just died without getting killed, as in his lover got killed and so he died too as a consequense. And then he probably used his revenge kill to take down Ishy.

Then she gives her long speech on how she's been laying in bed all night, unable to sleep, thinking about the verbal situation. And she says she thinks we should off him. Then she places her vote on Krak, using his play in a different mafia game as the reason. Goes back and forth a bit with Wombat about the Verbal issue. She still has no read of Lily. She keeps advocating lynching Verbal and saying we're already losing the game anyhow. She criticizes Krak when he shows up and asks a question. She thinks he's the best lynch for the day. She doesn't know if she buys Lily's reveal and she's unsure about Darthe's alignment.
