Hallia, only the maffia knows for a fact who is town and who isn't - everyone else is in the dark.

 

If you're town and you know for a fact that Player is town as well, what you're doing now is the worst thing possible:

 

1) you reveal that you have knowledge (hint at you being a PR?)

2) you're painting Player as a target for maffia kill (and losing a player that can be trusted is a blow for town)

3) you're attacking someone blindly (how do you expect scum to be caught, do you think that innocent players will never be FOS'd?)

I realize that if I only had 1 clear, that it would be silly to even hint at it, but I figured now would be a good time to come out.  I have three clears, which would be a boon to town.

Am I the ONLY ONE who saw Mish claim Lee "seriously", and then a few posts later say "go ahead, I'm just vanilla town"?? Come on, people. Double contradictive claims,

reminders of how she "always" plays 'better' as mafia... jeez.

I had neglected the game, and I'm trying to make good on that. FYI it's not 11.30 here, I've been on my feet all that promoting a magazine at a music festival; I'm usually not out at all due to my health, so it's been an extremely rough day for me. Most of all, I just wanna post the nightscene in my own game and ignore all other mafia games. But I'm not; I'm here posting. Because I did a shitty job playing the first week.

 

I know it's mafia and a bit of attitude is expected, but "jeez" right back at you.

Well so good of you to point out all the options super clear, so that you can WIFOM it all nicely for the mafia. I'm tempted to vote you over that.

 

 

 

 

Hallia, I think you should name your views, so we know who it's more or less useless to argue over. I know it'll also paint a target on their backs for the NK, but it'll help us narrow down the pool a lot.

Of course it does. But pointing it out just help the mafia WIFOM the whole situation and does little good. If you're a townie, they can use that against you. If you're mafia, well, of course you wanna muddle the water as much as possible...

Just how does that help the maffia? I'm all ears.

FoS all you want; logic still stands. Right now we're twelve people alive, if Hallia can clear three of us (and four with her), that means the pool to find mafia from shrink to eight. Better odds for town.

As for revealing, that may or may not be a good idea. The aim of a maffia game is to have all scum eliminated, or have more than half the remaining players cleared as town. Ideally, the maffia shouldn't know who has been cleared.

How do you clear players without the mafia knowing at some point? Hallia has three town; better she tells us now, than waits two more nights finding only townies, and then getting NKed before she can tell us anything.

 

What kind of WIFOM do you think the mafia can do from that post of yours, hm? I can think of at least two on the two first points.

Suki...can you explain what you mean with the bolded comment?

 

Mish says "I am Lee" at the beginning of the game and then states she is vanilla later on.  Is this a reason you think she is scummy.
