Openish RP - Just Not Going My Way

I wanted to play with you, so now I am.

 

I had a plan for this rp, but I am open to letting us all figure it out as we go or follow the plan. 

 

This RP is gonna be open to any and all who want to play in it. I don't think it will count as any requirements, that will be up to how it plays out and what the MoN says when its done. This is purely for the fun of it and is extra in initial nature.

 

So it starts out with Kathleen getting up late and rushing out to get on with her day. She runs into two messy novices who are then sent to do her laundry. Enter HALLIA AND BARD!

 

Go ahead and play out your mornings events and how you got messy right up to meeting Kathleen in the hall and getting sent to do her laundry. After that, do as you wish! Go to her room, wash her laundry and bring it back, or trash her room and ruin her laundry, whatever you want to do! have fun and play! But remember, it may not be req, but that doesn't mean it won't get put on your characters permanent record. My part of this has already been played out. I will Link to the rp at the end of this post.

 

 

So now, the rest of you want in on this RP with us? No problem, Kat has a lot to do! My initial thought was to have Kat go to a lot of places around the WT and at some point lose her necklace, then send people out to find it and let you guys play out searching for it through the Tower and grounds. I would pm each person who wanted to go on the hunt and tell one of you that you find it and in what part of the tower you find it, and I would tell the rest that you don't find it, but you can still play out your character searching for it and all the things they go through trying to find it.

 

Now, that was only one idea, if you have another idea of how to get your character involved, or where this rp could go, please let me know here and we can work it out. I want this to be a fun rp and I want to let everyone who wants involved in it to be involved.

 

Please post here before you post in the RP so we know who's gonna do what in it.

Ok, MESSY NOVICE 1 is HALLIA! 

 

I think we should do this is a first come first severd you jump into being the Next Novice in RP. that way we dont' fight over roles and we get to mix up who rps so we get a chance to rp with random people and your characaters may get to meet new novices.

 

So who's gonna be Novice two who got all browned up with Hallia?

For the rest of us, where do we want to go after? Do you like the scavenger hunt idea or would you prefer we think of something else to happen. I could have Kat run into random novices in each place?

 

How do you guys want to proceed?

 

Also it had come to my attention that a number of our new members are still waiting on access to this board, so they aren't ignoring us, they just can't see us yet.

I've been looking for a reason to play my Green without resorting to a solo RP, so if we can come up with a reason for her to be there, I'll happily jump in.

Kat is a Green too, perhaps they have a meeting scheduled for the day and its one of her many 'things to do'. We could play the meeting out normally have it get interupped by someone or some such. Or you could have a run in in the green halls with the two novices going for Kat's clothes?

What would be a good thing to meet about, Ajah-wise or personally-wise?  Janine's focus is battle weaves centered on weather manipulation, so there might be something to discuss there.

I'd play this in the timezone after Nyanna's block is broken, so she's more cheery and mischievous... maybe could have her serving tea and dropping a cup or something? Open to any other ideas! =D

Quibby - either one works for me. Where did you wanna meet? I have to get breakfast and take some books to library, we could meet either place or we could meet somewhere else.

 

 

Nya - So how do you want it to go? Just Kat goin room to room and having interactions with aspies? She could go to dining hall for breakfast and see you there? Not sure if you wanna be the one serving her or just random run in.

I'd say meet in the library.  Janine's only in the Tower for about half the year, and a lot of her time is spent either maintaining the gardens or doing research in the library.

Nya - waiting on your thoughts. I should probably have Kat eat somethign before she meets the green...But I need to know if you want it to be that we go room to room with the stuff happening like it did with the messy novices?

 

If I do'nt get a reply by the end of this week i'm gonna have kat get breakfast, uneventfully then meet with Quibby. We can do lunch or supper where nya can have her time.

Hmm, the breakfast idea sounds good! She could spill some coffee or something nehehe.

Another notion - Nya could maybe be helping Quibby's AS with something already, that way the RP doesn't have to branch out quite that far and connect stuff somehow? Not sure if you want it to be like that, but then it would maybe be a bit more like a group RP and you wouldn't have to be soing single RPs with each player?

Sorry for the wait folks, flu and storms and internet outages all attacked at once! 

 

I left an opening for a Brown should one want to jump in. Anyone else can feel free to jump in and do what ever in the background. 

 

Quibby and Nya, you can establish your characters and I'll join you as soon as I'm done with the brown if one comes kk?

 

and hallia and BB don't forget you guys can keep doing your sneaking around the green ajah/laundry stuff.

 

At this point I think we're just doing open rp. jump in all.
