I think the balance was good. I think that Turin's role was very dependant on which person got it; some might have wanted to become mafia, some might have wanted to do like Turin and be town. I think it would have worked anyway.

 

Considering that we were only 19 players, then 3 mafia + 2 recruits on top of the role Turin had, that could have become mafia, would have been unbalanced; I think mafia would have become way overpowered then. I think it was perfect like this :) I also think it was a really good idea to make some chars. unrecruitable and inform them about it, so that the town could get info about recruition.

I will neither confirm or deny the presence of anyone in the series save that I have avoided religious characters (generally) to avoid controversy.

It was a very swingy game, for sure. I'm generally not a fan of recruits, simply because it adds so much chance into the game. The same would apply to Turin's role. However, it worked out in practice and the balance was fine. What made it difficult for scum were the scenes describing the night action - Turin was basically able to prove his claim with them, which really made things impossible for us. I think that mod communications should reveal nothing about player actions. However, I did enjoy the game, and you're a good mod, Darthe.
