As the dwarves went to sleep Thorin stayed awake to keep watch once again.  Even in this Lake-Town, there was still danger rampant.  Not only that, but he had to think on how to capture the mountain, dragon and all, with only the dwarves to fight.  This would be very difficult indeed.  He enjoyed looking at the mountain, his former home.  It brought him memories of a time long gone, of his father and grandfather, great halls, and grandeur.  Now, all of that was gone, vanished, with only himself remaining.  Suddenly, he saw movement coming from the direction of the forest.  Had they been tracked here?  Thorin drew his sword out and he saw what was there.  From the mountain pass itself, the goblin leader had followed them, for revenge, of all the dead goblins and Wargs.  Thorin looked him in the eye, and suddenly called for help as loud as he could.  He rushed towards the goblin leader and the fought.  However, in Lake-Town, Thorin forgot what he was standing on.  During the fight, Thorin stepped back, presuming that he would step on solid land.  Instead he fell into the water, and as he fell, he saw the dwarves coming outside.  The goblin leader took his last chance to stab Thorkin and finish him off once and for all.  The dwarves cried out and loosed their arrows, wounding the goblin leader, who stumbled back into the forest.  Sighing, as he had just escaped, he wandered back into the forest.  Suddenly he himself saw a creature, larger than himself.  He was in no condition to fight!  The thing came out, and finished him off, once and for all.

Really sorry about inactivity, Christmas and what not, plus couldn't get on DM at all past few days. Mish you are so lucky, but whatever you do, don't spoil it! I know you won't but I still have to say it for my own peace of mind :laugh:

I haven't read the book but I did watch the first movie, Roäc isn't in it so I had to look it up on the Wiki.

 

 

I haven't been able to finish my full reread yet due to circumstances. I feel better now so I will try to finish it today. I will refrain from voting on Chuckles right now, since I don't know what is going on.

I don't buy that claim at all. Reeks of a fake claim and scrambling to me. Therefore, Vote lolguy. Also, I won't be on at the DL, or probably much at all until like Tuesday.
