Viola stepped into the gloom of the abandoned chapel and shuddered. She had been warned - there had been unexplained deaths, gruesome ones... and there was talk of vampires and things that go bump in the night. Viola didn't hold with such things normally, but in this dim and eerie place, she could almost believe in anything.

From the corner of her eye, she saw movement, and fear rose in her chest. She lashed out in the direction of the shadowy form, creating a small but violent storm with high winds and freezing rain to chase anyone lurking in the dark corner out into the murky light.

Out from the gloom stepped a man of indeterminate age and an almost ethereal beauty. She gasped and rushed over to apologize for her rashness. "Oh, dear! I am so very sorry, good sir. I fear I have soaked your clothing through and put you in danger of catching a nasty cold. Please, forgive me?"

Okay okay I guess that attack got amplified by your annoyance at seeing me skip the rp, so I guess I better start writing some in before I get dedded by Tress rage

Gale force winds and stinging rain assailed Lestat as his opponent's last attack carried through. He had already been pelleted with a barrage of small hail moments ago, but that attack had abated much quicker than this one. Gasping for air, Lestat was finally able to clear his mind enough to orient himself and his surroundings so that he could escape the attack.

Using his preternatural vampiric speed, he sprung away from the deluge of water and wind and assumed a crouching position atop a balustrade. The house groaned slightly, a reminder that it's age would not give it enough support to withstand many devestating attacks. Many were silly to think that vampires could not enter churches or other holy grounds. It's true that the sun had turned it's back on his kind for some time, but that didn't mean the Creator had. In fact, many of his kind believed the Creator to be a vampire herself, the original one. Lestat stayed away from such theological discussions, feeling actions always spoke louder than words.

Speaking of which, he eyed his target now, another lithe young woman, although this one was of a slightly less pale complexion. Something about the way she carried herself struck Lestat as odd however, it was as if she could go from having the hesitant yet graceful stride of a lady one second, then a bold purposeful stride of a young man the next. She continued looking about, trying to figure out where her adversary had escaped to, when Lestat finally decided to attack.

Channeling saidin expertly, he weaved together two of his favorite elements, Earth and Spirit, and sent the weave into the ground at Viola's feet. The floor twisted and erupted around her, showering her in splinters and larger shards of wood. Unfortunately the attack did not seem to be quite as damaging as Lestat had hoped however, as she was still able to maintain her footing. Glaring up at him finally, she slowly pulled a couple of small fragments of wood out of her shoulder and side. Plenty of splinters had scored small hits over her face and other parts of her body, but for some reason the wounds did not mar her beauty.

Lestat stood taller, and although his trademark grin could not be found on his face, there was no part of him ready to back down yet.

I hope to get things fixed today so i can at least finish it out with RP. Plus doing this on my phone is a pain. I just submitted an attack but never got the pop-up, and the archive is so far behind it's not even showing your last attack.

Will check it later on.

Hmm. Looks like Despo's attack was in there and it somehow stuffed up and duplicated my previous attack when i didn't get the pop-up.

Will give it another shot and see if it cooperates.

And it did the exact same thing. No pop-up, and exactly duplicated the Air roll from last night.

Hate doing this from the phone. Will call my ISP after i get breakfast and coffee out of the way and do this right.

And like magic, when I went to make my coffee, I discovered all the lights on my cable modem happily glowing away. *shakes head at schizophrenic internet*

Viola was alarmed. The stranger she had seen in the chapel, the one whose unearthly beauty had stunned her to inaction and allowed him to injure her, had vanished yet again.

The shadowed corners of this chapel must be concealing him, or the deep and dark recesses of the choir loft. Casting a wary eye about her, Viola once again created a concentrated storm with brutal, freezing winds and pellets of ice to drive him into the dim and gloomy light. There she would deal with this unnatural creature once and for all.

The popup is a special plug-in that computers have when they use a full browser it is unlikely that it will work on a phone browser (this will be eliminated in the next version that I put up hopefully sometime soon <_<)
