Even leaving out the story we know from the BWB about the Nym. If the Aiel were engineered and its not relevant to the story surely it would have been mentioned there.

Singing or having "the voice" was a talent. It had nothing to do with engineering. Again this would have been hinted at in text or at the least in the BWB if it was true of the Aiel.

Here in the UK it is apparent that people are getting a bit taller, and this is happening over centuries rather than millenia; but changes in pigmentation are rather more complex, I think.

what is described above is a simple gene-modulation. which means your genes so you can be between say 5'5 and 6 feet tall, the availability of food decides the rest. 3000 years is way too short a period
